Good Points: There aren't any!

Bad Points: Everything.

General comments: I tried to buy a digital camcorder from The Digital Nerds. They asked me to call to confirm, and when they tried to sell me another battery, I declined. He immediately sent me an e-mail telling me my order had been cancelled, by my request (which I had not requested). I am going to cancel my card I used to make the purchase.

I will never ever buy anything from thedigitalnerds.com guys again. I feel especially bad because I turned my mother on to these guys who bought a camera and had to endure the same miserable service and pain. And guess what, two weeks after she received the camera, it broke. Go figure. Good luck getting our money back.

I ordered a camera online. I had to call them to confirm order. They wanted to sell me a bunch of stuff. After I declined, I received and email that my order was cancelled. I called them back and asked them if the camera was in stock and they said yes, then hung up. Called them a second time, to double check, they hung up once I asked them again about the camera.
Go to Tigerdirect.com, they are a great place to buy from.

Terrible business practices, threatening customer service, they try bring you in with low cost offers on the camera or tech equipment, then they try and sell you all kinds of overpriced accessories for the camera, when you say you don't need any of that the camera all of a sudden is unavailable or on back order for 6 weeks, Go figure.

I bought an "In Stock" camera from them at $200 off the retail price. As soon as I placed my order, a guy called me and wanted me to buy all kinds of accessories. I refused and suddenly there was an email to me saying that the item was no longer in stock and my order had been canceled.

I went to buydig.com and bought the item for a more reasonable price and was very happy with the service and the quality of the person that I spoke to. Moral of the story.... if it looks to good to be true, it ...

The Digital Nerds customer service is terrible. They sent me a camera with a European plug. They were unfriendly on the phone when I inquired about an exchange for a United States plug, and they were unfriendly about the return. And when asked if they would solve the problem by sending an adapter for it, they refused. I will not ever shop there again.
