Good Points: The open-ended design service and ability to see everything in situ in the showroom as you go through the design process. The build quality of the units and the fact they are fully assembled. The helpful and friendly staff who responded to requests for information and kept us informed throughout.
Bad Points: The time taken to correct and deliver replacement units was longer than expected and caused some problems.
General comments: The complete replacement of the kitchen and utility room was a daunting thought with so many options and decisions to make. It was the quality and quantity of displays in the Kutchenhaus showroom that gave the inspiration for the design, and the design service provided was excellent. The designer was very helpful and willing to go through several iterations over several months to reach the final design. Every detail of the design was discussed, and the ability to see all the options in the showroom was key to the decision process. There was no pressure to sign on the dotted line, and you felt that getting it right was their first priority. The package of drawings with computer generated images and detailed layout plans was extremely helpful.
The delivery was to schedule, and the delivery service was faultless. Out of a list of over 70 items not one was missing or damaged. The packaging and identification of every item was impressive, and the fact that the units came fully assembled made the installation straightforward.
There was only one set-back, in that on delivery we found that the dimensions of the housing units for the ovens were not as shown on the drawings (ovens too high). This was accepted as an error, and the units were replaced without charge. Ensuring the replacement units were correct did take some time, but the staff were very helpful throughout and averted a potential 'not recommended' situation.
The completed kitchen and utility room are a delight, and the more we use them the more we appreciate the quality and features of the units.

The staff at Kutchenhaus are nice and they don't follow you around like some places. It can take a few days to get to see a kitchen designer, but it's worth it.

I would summarize as follows: Having a kitchen fitted is pretty traumatic - Now that ours is completed, we are delighted with the products and they are better than well known competitors.
Many of my friends have had all sorts of lengthy nightmares with new kitchens, which we have not experienced. I am not dissatisfied with the customer care received, although I do think that their marks would go from 7/10 to 9/10 if they used a common sense approach and dealt with some issues from a moral rath ...
