AMAZING. Great piece of software, very simple to use a, five year old could use it. The previous reviews mention crashed but personally after using it for over a year I have never found any problems with it.

Like - Simplicity, variety of transitions, variety of file formats.
Disliked - Nothing all good. (read more)

“The Cyberlink Power Director 6 software continually...”

The Cyberlink Power Director 6 software continually freezes and refuses to replay edits smoothly. Granted, this could be thanks to Bill Gates wonderful operating system called Vista [/sarcasm] but then again, it could also be this particular piece of software. When it does work, it seems to have a number of features but it's almost impossible to edit anything long enough to see the results. (read more)

Constantly freezes the screen and then has this overlapping effect of pictures and videos in the timeline which makes it impossible to edit a single picture or video. No service representatives availalbe to speak to about problems unless you want to pay a $30 fee for this service. Otherwise yo have to email your questions in and then wait for hours or days for what may or may not be the solution. (read more)

Quite happy with my Serif movie plus 5 until I got a Everio G camera the other week. This produces MOD files (MPEG2) and Serif could not be sure if they would run on their software. So downloaded trial of software that comes with Everio (cut down version though) as it seems to be almost Hobsons choice apart from two others for using this type of file before buying camera. Bit dubious as lots of references to 'magic' this, that and the other, always an off-putting term in UK as smacks of... (read more)

I must be a techno-geek, because I cannot figure out the instructions that came with Power Director 6. If Oldbod or anyone else can decipher the .pdf booklet, please comment me.
