Bad Points: REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD FUEL ECONOMY
General comments: If your looking for a diesel that has a sports look do not buy the Astra cdti sri 1.7 100bhp mine and on my search of Astra etc owners clubs will return 42-44mpg at best i drive on a-roads and am lucky to see the car go over 60mph and my computer reads 43.8mpg i have complained to Vauxhall directly and they refer you to your local dealer who i have visited three and they will do nothing about it and say it is common but Vauxhall state 42-61mpg the customer service is poor and this car is not for you if you are looking for economy my friend has a 140bhp golf and it is quick and he still returns 50+mpg and he drives it like he stole it so i say get one of those I'm looking.
Hope this reaches every person looking at the Astra diesel before its to late.
