    Good Points: Apartment(ref:1892 with North Devon Holiday Homes) was modern, clean and reasonably well equipped.
    Good location if visiting by car and willing to drive for evening entertainment.


    Bad Points: Disruptive noise from adjacent building works began at 7:30 am every weekday of our stay.
    The picture reception on the TV was so poor that it was not watchable.
    The garden would be best described as 'wasteground.'The walk into the town about 20 minutes and all downhill, consequently the return walk was about 30 minutes up a steep hill and steps and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
    The advertised 'off-road parking' did not exist from what I could see.


    General comments: We were not made aware of any of the bad points listed, prior to our holiday to Crofts Lea Park.
    We booked the holiday from their website which would best be described as misleading.
    On my return, I contacted North Devon Holiday Homes and they assured me that they would investigate the problems and report back to me, I have not heard anything since, despite several attempts to prompt them.
    The walk back from the town caused problems as my wife is recovering from illness and couldn't manage this exertion.
    The apartment was a very good base for exploring the surrounding area (by car).
    Ilfracombe was O.K. if a bit old fashioned. It lacked modern bars and restaurants. It seems to cater mainly for people whose favoured holiday meal is fish and chips every night.
    I was very annoyed at North Devon Holiday Homes attitude and lack of professionalism in their dealing with (and ignorance towards ) my complaint.
