Good Points: Activities are great fun. Sure to have a wonderful time.

Bad Points: Some extreme adventure sport require a certain level of physical fitness

General comments: The stately city of Edinburgh is famous for its history and culture. The modern day Edinburgh is not stuck to its past grandeur though. It has carved a niche for itself as the most popular city break for a hen/stag weekend.

The nightlife in Edinburgh is awesome, one reason for its popularity. However the days can also be equally great, the range of activities available is so wide.

There a numerous activity venues in and around Edinburgh. These have been catering to the demands of their visitors so successfully that more venues have been begun. The stiff competition assures a visitor that he/she will get the best of the deal. There are all sorts of activities whether one is an adrenaline junkie or otherwise.

Check out a few of the activities available in various categories. There are excellent golf courses where one can tee off to a great weekend. Five a side football is enjoyed by everybody. Bowling is an activity which needs no experience at all, but the scope for enjoyment is unlimited. Bowling venues are very often equipped with a pub and gaming arcades where time can be spend.

Sphering is where you get to tumble down the mountain in a huge sphere. It may not be everybodys idea of fun but you will never know if you dont get into the sphere.Paintball is very popular with most hen/stag groups and the venues around Edinburgh have very exciting scenarios
    .
Clay pigeon shooting gives one the opportunity to check out shooting skills. You dont have to be a sharp shooter to enjoy clay shooting but it is undoubtedly something you will enjoy. Archery is another activity where your shooting skills can be checked out while enjoying yourself.

Extreme adventure sport such as Abseiling, Canyonning, Whitewater rafting, Cliff jumping, Duckies, River Bugs or Tyrolean Drops are other activities which can be made part of a multiactivity day.

Most of these activities require a minimum group size of 6-8.All equipment and protective gear are provided at most venues.A multi activity day is perfect for stag fun.
