    Good Points: Looks good, easy to use, large load, very fast spin @ 1600 rmp, quiet, lots of wash choice


    Bad Points: See general comment


    General comments: This Hotpoint WT761P should be a great machine but it's the only washing machine I've ever owned that's gone wrong in the first 3 years. (It will now only do a slow spin 800 rpm.) It's also the first Hotpoint I've ever owned, so it's disappointing.

    Overall, I am very pleased with the machine. 269 from Dixons online. Excellent delivery service from Dixons too.

    The support line has been slightly worse than useless as some of the staff have been very offensive on two occasions, both to me and my wife. We have made no demands on the staff and were very patient, but they didn't want to know. I think Hotpoint are waiting until the 12 month warranty is up so they can get shot of it.

    Avoid this machine and Hotpoint for that at all costs!!!

    So far best washing machine I have owned although have only had for 2 weeks.
