“Fantastc pushchair”

I have had many prams/pushchairs/strollers i had 14 for my daughter and on my 9th for my 10month old son. I have finally found a pushchair me and my husband love and it also fits A buggy board for our daughter. Reading some of the other reviews on here I have never had any of the issues reported. I have the M&P Luna in denim, and my 2 year old loves it! She can sit up and look around, be nosey and so on. I have never had a better pushchair to be fair. As for the issues being reported like the pushchair tipping back - Who leaves their pushchair unattended let alone leaving/carrying heavy shopping on the handle bars. As with all pushchairs you should never carry too much shopping on the handle... (read more)

I bought the mamas and papas luna pushchair as it seemed wide enough for my 2 year old daughter to sleep in comfortabley, we needed something for a wedding and a holiday that she could sleep in during the day, the pushchair would tip over if she threw her self back in temper or to sleep or even if i put her bag over the handle bars even with her inside. on holiday the push chair collapsed with my daughter in it as we went down a curb trapping her little finger and removing half the skin... As a third and final time mum, I wanted to splash out on my last pushchair and car seat for my little one. I had had a Graco travel system with my first, it was fabulous, couldn’t fault it till a wheel dropped off but by then I had had my monies worth, and bought a Maclaren Techno. What a buggy!!! Fantastic, no gripes with it. Compact and easy to push. With second baby, I had Baby Bruin from Babies R US, useless waste of time that was, I changed it again for a newer version of the same... bought the luna with carrycot for baby no 3, was good with carrycot but when used as a pram there is no support for baby withthe straps. arm straps come from bottom of pram so my baby now 5 mths who can sit up flops everywhere. took back to shop n they told me that baby has to be moe lying down n not to sit up right which my baby does not like so he will scream when i take him out untill he falls asleep. i have had the luna mix now for about 2 years and i think is brill my little girl has had is since birth with the carry cot it has never tipped with her in it and she flings her self back and forward all the time when singing row row row your boat.and i also like the fact that all my frends have had to buy new prams and all i do is get a new hood much cheaper for me allwatys looks grate and now many of my friends have it as well and i no they are all pleased with it as well xx (read more)

we brought this pram as it was light weight and managble and wouldnt take my whole boot up.
i love it.. i love the fact if i get board i can change things. im not stuck to one pram!
and as for people saying its tipping over its never happened to me, and my daughter is 5 months. you shouldnt be leaving your pram with your child in it anyway... but i will say i have heard a few people saying that the wheels have fallen apart? and mama and papa didnt do anythink about it. not sure how true...

my daughter got a luna mix for her christmas luna mix (2010 version ) 2nd time i used it my 16 mth baby tipped it . i put her in it with all straps securely fastened lay the pushchair back to see if she would go to sleep. she sat back up and flung herself back tipping the pushchair . i have contacted mamas and papas they are going to take it back to test it to make sure there is no fault ! i will up date when they get back to me

i think this is t he most dangerouse pushchaire i have ever had done nothing but tip evern wikthoyt changing bag on the pram evern wen standing with no child init it tips and the actually seat unit is only heald on by clips so swings side to side like a hammok wich is also dangerous and the straps never evern sit on the sholder and not to mention how hard the seat is and the seat liner is so thin that it makes no difference to comfort compleatly awful pushchair deth trap if u ask me! Absolutely aweful pushchair.
Has almost tipped more times than I can count, when my daughter was smaller and lighter (bearing in mind, she was 9lb 7oz at birth, so never that light and i didn't use it at birth, used it from 5 months) it would bounce along the pavement, front wheels bobbing up and down off of the pavement where it was so tippy !
The back of the hood is only fabric, so if it tipped she would have whacked the back of her head bloody hard !
I can't just put the break on and take...

I have had the luna puchchair since last july. when my son was small i loved the fact he could lay flat in the carry cot when he was tiny and have always found the pushchair sturdy, reliable, easy to maneuver and easy to collape.
when we had had it about 10 months the right hinge broke, we rang the shop we got it from who contacted mammas and pappas. they then took the pushchair and repaired it and had it back to me within 3 weeks, we have never had a problem since. plus they cleaned it!

The hinges trapped my daughters finger when I lifted the back wheels up the kerb. It has been back to M&P twice now they replaced the bottom section the first time but the hinges still pince her skin. M&P have not made the pushchair safe and have not offered a remedy. I have reported it to trading standards now. Do not buy it, it could injure your child (read more)

please dont get me started on this pram!! most of all the costumer service i have received from mamas & papas. the front of the pram snapped it kept tipping up raincover ripped and this was all within 13weeks of using it. I took it back the liverpool store they sent it to be repaired on the 8th sept still not got it back. been on the phone 5 times askin what is happening with it- They now decide to inform me they have lost it, it has completely vanished no record of it even being sent off... i bought the luna buggy because it folded flat and it suited my needs, but i found it wasn't as easy to manouver as i thought. my complaint is that i took my son out for a walk today and the wheel fell off. I never ever thought this would happen. i was a distance away from my car and it was hard to wheel the buggy and keep pushing the wheel back on. it was not a smooth sale for my son either. I brought the mamas and papas luna 3 weeks ago i am very unhappy with it.It has whats called a freedom harness which the only place its connected to the pushchair is round the childs waist allowing child to lean forward i found this very dangerous as my daughter like any other child likes to lean forward and on numberous of occasions i've had to catch her to stop her actually falling out the pushchair.I will never buy another mamas and papas as they weren't even interested when contacted all... I have had this pushchair for about a month but in the last week the clips on the left hand side keep jumping out of place so my 4 month old daughter basically collaspes to that side of the buggy! Very dangerous, has anyone else had this problem? Should I complain? (read more)

i would not have given the luna any stars if possible. my daughter has trapped her hand in the folding mechanism twice and been left bruised. mamas and papas are taking no responibility for it as i bought it from a retailer. It has been sent to be repaired once and came back with a new handle nothing to do with the problem i mentioned so it was completely pointless, when i took it back to the retailer and told them that the repair had not been done they said that mamas and papas deemed it... I had no end of trouble with my mama's and papa's Luna push chair. The foam handle kept getting damaged when it was folded up, along with the mesh bit of the hood. I took it back but they weren't very helpful, saying it was ware and tear. I made a complaint in end. The harness is dangerous whem my son grew bigger, he nearly fell out when going down a steep hill because the harness isn't high enough so the straps don't sit on his shoulders properly and he can get his arms out. I have recently sold my Luna after 2 years use, I absolutely adored my Luna pushchair it came with us abroad, off roading and every day use. It was a dream to push folded nice and flat in the boot of my car. My daughter was in it from 4 months to 2 years never once did it tip over and it is still as new with no faults. I was very dissatisfied with both the Luna Pushchair and the service i recieved in Mamas and papas. I bought my pushchair a month ago and within 2 weeks realised it was very unsafe, my son is 10 moths old and when led in a flat position the pushchair tips back. This happened on 2 seperate occassions, I returned the pushchair to mamas and papas where i expressed my concern for the safety of my baby. hi i recieved the same from my local store.some 25miles away..i bought a luna mix and had had it for six months and noticed that the cozy toes sip was busted i took it back and my pushchair was sent off tho be mended..after 3 weeks of waiting..i got a call to say that it was back and repaired...on picking it up however i discovered the zip was still broken..i was missing the hood..i as not happy and i said i want this matter sorted asap.then turns out that the whole unit needed to be changed due to the fact there was a common fault with the unit...so we need to come back tomorrow,,,we returned and collected thr luna mix still no hood...then they started getting funning saying they aint going to replace a hood afterwards they did but the rudeness.now ive noticed that the harness is a complete sham my daughter can climb out i think its extremly dangerous and fell that the lunamix should be recalled and have the harness change for the safety of our children as these pushchairs were not cheep and expect the children to be safe in them

I haven't found a huge issue with tipping over unless it gets pulled. The zipped bit that covers their feet doesn't even fit my chair. Iv had various other problems too. The only good thing I found was it has really good handling. I'm due my 2nd baby now and can't wait to get a new push chair.

I bought this buggy a couple of weeks ago, having already purchased the 8 in 1 system (which doesn't fit in my car!). After assembling it, i went back to shop as i wasn't happy with the harness. My son, now almost 4 months old moves from side to side constantly. The salesperson said this was meant to happen as it was the all new 'freedom harness'. What a load of rubbish. I have since contacted Mamas and Papas customer services to complain about this and they say that it has passed all safety... (read more)

I agree that the harness is aweful on this chair. I didn't find it a problem untill my son was much older. The harness doesn't come high enough up so doesn't sit over his shoulders and he is able to get his arms out of the straps. I have only kept it for 16 months because I'm expecting my second child and have now bought a double push chair. I found mama's and papa's were not very good with after care. Mothercare on the other hand seem really good so far.

i also agree that te harness on these pushchairs are awful, my little girl is constantly getting her arms out and it does not support her at all, she can sit forward to easily and flys around when pushing her, it can npot be pulled tighter. i just wish i had f read reviews first before purchasing this pushchair as i would of spent my money on something alot more safer, do not reccomend this product at all.

i also have the same concerns. i bought this pushchair and have used it once and found it very light at the front as if it would tip back as my baby got bigger. she is only 4 months so it ok just now, but im not so sure about in the future. i also hate the free moving harness. i have phoned mamas and papas to complain and they dont seem intrested with my concerns for my babys safety. i then spoke to the shop i bought it from and they are going to send it back to mamas and papas for a safety test. i am considering contacting watchdog as there is alot of concerns from people.

i have used my luna on both my children and i love it,
its so easy to push, easy to keep clean and my 5 month old is really happy in it, been using it for over 2 years and never had a problem with it, niether has it tipped over.

Bought a luna in oct 09, returned to store after 2 weeks split raincover, M&P replaced it free of charge after 3 weeks and a phone call to chase it up.
Few weeks later take it back again doesn't fold properly and there is a gap in the folding mechanism(possible finger intrapment)plus complaint of tipping when stationary(my child was well with in the recommended age and weight range). Comes back to me with 4 new wheels and a report saying it doesn't tip and folds fine.
Take it back to store...

I found this review very helpful because I have also had problems with the luna pushchair, my nine month old granddaughter was in the pram when it tipped, she got a nasty cut on her head, mama's and papas took it away but we were told nothing wrong with it now left with a pushchair that will not be used as we will not put the baby back in it. I am now going toget an independent report on pram.

I found this review very helpful because... my grand-daughter has a luna pushchair and trapped her hand in the folding mechanism when going up and down kirb edges as the gap widens sent back to retailer who sent to mama's & papa's for repair whenreceived back problem was still apparent retailer and mama's & papa's not concerned at all terrible customer service thinking of reporting the problem to watchdog

I to have a Luna which I got of my sister inlaw and i would most definately not recommend to anyone. It is lovely to push especailly as I bought it so I coudl push with one hand and hold my other sons hand nut that is as far as it goes. My son is 2 and when he lays down his head falls out the side or if he makes any movement in his slepp the buggy tips backward. I think this is terrible as they should last alot longer, when i contacted mamas and papas customer care i was told they could not help me as the pram was bought from another retailer i would never recommend this pram now (read more)

I would have to say I hate my pram it looks nice but constantly tips over and my son is only 10 months old so hes not too heavy. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Also when you fold it down the inside touches the ground and gets dirty. The straps are useless as they keep slipping down no matter how much you fix them. (read more)

The Luna pushchair
i bought this pushchair after having a silver cross sleepover and it became too big to go any where with, and found the LUNA to be brilliant, its light and easy to fold up, it lies completly flat so when out my son can sleep proply. my son has been in it since he was 5 months old and loves it to bits.
it fits into my mothers car very easly and she has a polo. It has never tipped over once since having it, the one thing i would say is that the rain cover is a bit messy...

I bought the luna mix for my son who had just turned one as I wanted a puschair that would lie flat for him to nap in and enough room for him to sit in, It was all going so well until i went up a hill and it tipped over with son in it. I brought the mamas and papas luna for my youngest daughter after having a double pushchair, we both love it. it so easy to push with one hand (other hand free to hold my oldest daughters hand). very spacious and easy for my daughter to get in and out of. she is 30months so when we use it she just gets herself in and out on her own using the bar. had it from when she was 6 months and was suitable with the liners and straps to support her properly. has never tipped up for me. i also have a... I have had the luna for my son who is 8 months old since birth. I was attracted to it by its design and colour and also liked the idea of being able to attach a carrycot and car seat to make it more versatile.
Although i am happy with the pram i wish i had shopped round a bit more as it is not a cheap pram when you add on all the extras - car seat + adapters, carrycot, liner, bag etc.

Mamas and papas offer VERY bad customer service, the luna pushchair raincover rips easily and they dont take responsibilty for it, they charge £35 to get it replaced plus when they have the offer on the pushchair with free accessories they dont always have the matching accessories but still have the pffer advertised. Im very dissatified with the service with Mamas and Papas and will never purchase anything from them again!!! I would actually rate no stars!!! (read more)

Bought the mamas and papas Luna system for my daughter. She outgrew the carrycot part and i have now noticed that i only have the bag which goes with the pram on the back and the whole pushchair tips up leaving my daughter almost falling out! Now the pram bag isnt exactly full with 1 bottle 2 nappies and baby wipes. I brought the Mamas and Papas Luna travel system for my daughter having spent months searching. We spent £340. I had the same thing happen to me with curbs. Not only did I worry about my Childs safety but I looked like such an idiot to people passing by. Customer service also is not their strong point.

This Mamas and Papas Luna pushchair is awful!
It has no support whatsoever, my son of 15 months got his arms out of the straps (which even though i am constantly adjusting still slip down his arms) and fell forward and was held in the pushchair only by the seat pad, the "secure harness" is ridiculous! i have now had to buy yet another pushchair as am worried he will actually fall out!
Was at first attracted by the lovely colous and funky design, but would not reccomend this to anyone!

The Luna is a great buggy, lies completely flat and is very spacious so my 21 month old looks likes he napping in his cot. Fairly easy to fold although it is a 2 handed fold. The straps are a little different (freedom harness) but you just have to make sure that they are adjusted properly and plastic buckle at back is in the centre of child's back. Rain cover is the downside in that it is huge and unless quite technically folded it takes up most of the basket. (read more)

I absolutely love this manas and papas luna pushchair. I bought it as a replacement to a bebecar pram as that was far too big. I had a big baby so needed a big seat unit for her and this fits the bill perfectly and she will fit in ths till she is easily 3-4. Its easy to push, easy to fold down and easy to lay back down. I agree with some other people about it not being so easy to sit back into sitting position but it really doesnt cause too much worry for me. Its a small problem. the only... (read more)

this Mamas and Papas Luna pushchair is fab best one ive had and ive had many hehe so easy to push so light very easy to fold brill only problem is the harness is only held from the bottom and is a problem when you push the pram up a kerb its ok but going down one my daughter falls forward and would not advise this pushchair for younger children with out a bumper bar but with the bumper the pram is brill love it (read more)

Having hastily purchased this Mamas and Papas Luna pushchair because the wheel fell off her previous pushchair, my daughter thought this would be a good buy - but of course you can't really try before you buy. My grandson is 11 months and certainly not beyond the age/weight guidance (15Kg/3 years) he's not particularly boisterous but being a little overtired the seat was partially reclined, he pushed himself up on his feet and the pushchair toppled backward on the patio. i bought a mamas and papas luna when my son was about 4 month old. i liked the look of it its a bit big though. its good becuase you can change the covers on it to so it will last long especially if you have another child of the opposite sex then you can just change the cover. its not heavey it looks it but its actually quite light the handly bar adjusts to ur hieght to. easy to lie back a bit hard to put back up..the rain cover is massive though but not really that much of a problem..i... Disappointing to say the least! Was seduced by the great colour and frame design and the fact it was promised to fit in a small hatchback (it certainly didn't do this). I had Loola, Silver Cross and now I have Luna M&P and its fab!
Roomy, easy to push, me and my baby love it!! He has a lot of room to strech and feel free to move but steel safe.
I bought special harness clip to keep harness closer so baby is safer and cant tip over.

I bought this buggy for my third baby thinking that there was not much that could go wrong with a puschair (I'd never had any problems with Silvercross or mothercare prams that I had for the other two). And, it looked so good it the window of the newly opened Mamas/ Papas store!!! How wrong I was! Just about everything is wrong with this one! I have my Mamas and Papas Luna since January 08 and I've never had any problems with it. After buying it I read some bad reviews and was considering bringing it back to exchange it, but i'm so glad I didn't. My 17 months old has used it since birth and he's always loved it. The seat it very roomy. He's very comfortable in it. The shopping basket is a good size. I've used it a lot and nothing has ever broken on it. Would I buy it again? Yes definitely! (read more)

I have bought the luna mix from Mamas and Papas and this is my fourth pram i have had and my baby is only 13 months old. the best thing is you can change the hoods and liners so if you are like me and get bored really easy you can change your hood instead of your pram. 1 bad point is the rain cover. i bought this Mamas and Papas Luna pushchair for my son when he was able to sit unaided. i had the version 1, which i wasnt sure on but then upgraded to the version 3 which i absolutely loved as it rectified the things i didnt like about the version 1,ie, it had an adjustable leg rest-essential for comfort in young babies-and a better angled seat so that my son didnt fall to the side as he used to.It gives a very smooth ride along the road and you can actually hear the quality of the...
