Good Points: For the price, ( coop on line) at £700) this is the best plasma tv on the market at 42" for under £1,000
    Great sound,picture and connectivity.
Looks nice even when switched off.
In built surround sound is effective.

Bad Points: None what so ever.

General comments: The Panasonic Viera TH-42PX70CAB is b rilliant value for money.
If you do not have Sky HD or a very expensive HD DVD player , no problem, use the kids X-box 360 switched to HD mode and play your HD DVD on the X -box, it will blow your mind.
I did an in depth evaluation of many 42" plasma tv's being buying the Panasonic and this is truly great value for money.

I buy all my gear from a Panasonic retailer and as a result get great service. This one came with an extended 5 year guarantee for additional piece of mind. I know that should it go wrong the shop will collect the faulty item and loan me a similar unit until such time as mine has been repaired. That's service!

HD mode requires subscription to Sky HD and/or a very expensive DVD player. Its a real surprise so many TVs have an HD facility when so few people watch HD. The quality of the non-HD picture is actually very important, which is a good recommendation for this Panasonic Viera.
