Simple facts of the case: 1. I placed an order with Fineflora.com and paid a whopping GBP 50.00. 2. I received my order that was completely different from what I ordered. Different in looks, feels and contents. Oh, and it contained ROTTED LEAVES! 3. I contact the customer service the next day complaining that this is not what I ordered. 4. they have a facebook page but they deleted and ignored any comments I put on it. Contact Guernsey trading standards, some us have already done so and the more complaints they receive about this excuse for a business the more likely something will be done

I've currently got some posts up on their Facebook page because tweeting on their Twitter didn't seem to work. Ironically, they've 'threatened' me by email to take all our correspondences to the Office of Fair Trading so thought I might contact them next if they don't! yes they threatened me with legal action too and said how could they run a business with my comments there!!! They are either incredibly arrogant or incredibly thick I think as they seem unable to accept they have made mistakes neither can they accept that taking people's money and either not delivering or delivering rubbish is not good business.
Guernsey trading standards, google it and you can email them. I'll keep you posted as to how I am getting on

avoid this awful company. My mother in law ordered us a tulip bouquet for our anniversary. Tulips arrived a day late and were dessicated and greenish looking. Complained via email to company - three days later got a response apologising for flowers and offering to send a replacement bouquet. This arrived a week later and was really no better than the first. Wow, at least you got an offer of replacement; my complaint email (saying the bouquet received was not what I ordered) was simply met with 'the bouquet looks fine'. No apology, no offer of replacement.

I completely agree with you that this is a complete rip off!

I see that they advertise this company was having flowers in Guernsey but I suspect the only real reason for them being based in Guernsey is to avoid being reached by angry and disappointed customers!

Sorry to hear that Fineflora ruined your special day; similar thing happened for me with my parents' day. Sent my parents a bouquet that looked nothing like what was shown on the website and consequently didn't contain the right flowers for the occasion!

Can't agree with you more on the non existent customer service. I really should have noticed that they're not even a registered company, are based in Guernsey and do not even have a telephone number!

“WOULD NOT USE AGAIN”

I recently ordered some flowers for my aunt's birthday, they turned up 2 days late, which completely ruined the surprise. She then sent a picture of the flowers, which looked nothing like the picture on the website. Instead of lilies they were replaced by less expensive flowers! I sent an e-mail as there was no telephone number on the website expressing my disappointment but did not get a reply. I will certainly not be using fine flora ever again...even with a discount code!! (read more)

Are you part of the company or being paid to post this or something? If not you were lucky to even get your delivery let alone flowers that weren't dead. Many of us had mothers who got nothing and have received no replacement (or the flowers were dead if we did) , refund or apology

Me too! I've actually been 'threatened' by Fineflora that they will be forwarding all my correspondence with them (for which they had one reply) to the Office of Fair Trading! How ironic is that?!

I've also been writing on their facebook page and left 4 posts (one of which I shared and my friends commented on) and they've promptly deleted all of them after they themselves commented on them.

I will be more than happy to combine forces and take this matter further. I will be contacting the Guernsey Trading Standards soon also.

My Son rang at 12.30 to ask if I could arrange to get some flowers sent to his wife as part of her birthday present, I said he'd left it a bit late and I didn't think it would be possible, saw Fine Flora on internet and ordered them at about 12.45 not thinking there would be much chance of getting a delivery with leaving it so late, I got another phone call to say flowers were delivered about 2.30 and they were beautiful so happy Daughter-in-Law and even happier Son. “Bunch of flowers fit for the bin”

My sister sent me a bunch of flowers. I would be embarrased to tell her how awful they were. Brown leaves and wilted flowers, completely dry. These were supposed to cheer me up. “Flowers lovely, box disgusting state”

Courier delivered flowers for my Mum who is going into Hospital tomorrow for an operation. Delivery man apologised straight away as box was in a disgusting condition. He thought the flowers would be ruined but when Mum opened the box they were fine. My daughter saved up her money £ 30 and ordered a large bunch of flowers for Mothers day. When they arrived we were so embarrassed by them we had to rush out a buy a replacement. Terrible, terrible service... Flowers and chocolates were ordered from teh Fineflora.com website in the morning for same-day delivery. At 9pm, the flowers hadn't turned up so I asked for the order to be cancelled and for a full refund (this was a birthday gift for a person that was at an address only temporarily whilst on holidays, so there was no point in the flowers turning up at a later date). I ordered 15 stems of Orchids from Fine Flora to be sent to a family member for a funeral, the order arrived a day late which I understand can happen.  Although when the order arrived it had been subsituted for a bunch of mixed flowers which in my opinion I could have bought from a supermarket. Ordered the suprise birthday flowers for an elderly housebound relative and they never turned up. Did not answer one of my emails and I found them not very sincere when they did. I have used this type of service with other companies over the years with no problems and wont be using it again with Fineflora. Avoid. In the end I had to tell my relative about the suprise as she usually would thank me.

I ordered 3 bunches of flowers to be delivered 23 Dec to 3 family members in Nth Wales. One bunch arrived a day late and were in ok condition. The other two bunches arrived a week late and were dead. I am having trouble getting a reply from Fineflora.com in Guernsey. (read more)

sent flowers via the internet from this supplyer, requesting that they must be there on the date they where contracted to deliver, which was my 85 year old mother on her birthday, they where 3 days late and the flowers where not upto the standard. When my mother informed me I sent a private letter to the owner of the company explaining my disapointment , that was that was at least 2 weeks ago and I have received not a word from them. They are a shame and I would not recommend them to anyone.... (read more)
