Bad Points: D(F)OA: Dead (Flowers) On Arrival! No customer service. No phone number. No accountability. No refund policy.
General comments: I ordered some flowers from www.fineflora.com for my mother for Mothers Day, March 2008. However, when my mother received them through the post, two out of four bunches appeared to be dead, and the other two were already wilting. When I contacted the company (only e-mail contact possible), I was told that the company policy is only to send replacements, not give refunds. My feeling was that the day itself was ruined for my mother (and me) and simply sending another bunch would not put it right. Will never use again.

flowers by post is a good nice cheap way of sending quality flowers but there is a risk of delay because the delivery process is completely outside the control of these types of companies as its done by royal mail. My advise is that if you want a fantastic designer bouquet of flowers to knock the socks off the person in your life then spend £50/$60 with interflora but if your're looking for a cheap bouquet of freesias or carnations around £20 for someone and the dates not vital then ...

Flowers by post has recently become a popular way to send flowers - I would say that if a particular delivery date is a must use Interflora but if you're not too fussed if the flowers arrive a day early or late then they are really good

Despite paying extra money for the flowers to arrive for a special occasion, they did not materialise and nor did a Royal Mail card - I have no proof whatsoever that the flowers were ever even sent. An second attempt also failed to arrive. The customer service dept have been nearly impossible to contact and when they do respond are unhelpful and some can even be rude - suggesting the problem is due to the accessibility (?!) of my home to deliveries - I have lived here for several years and never ...
