Whilst the ordering and delivery service were good the very ordinary flower display and flowers left a lot to be desired and did not match the apparent quality and design as advertised. I imagine the value of the flowers would not equate with a good supermarket but more a cheaper small store....I am sure the value of the flowers was hardly £10 and certainly did not equate with the £50 spent...I know there was a basic vase and delivery but overall very poor value for money

I asked for mixed flowers in reds and pinks as for a ruby wedding gift. When they arrived it was just six roses and loads of greenery roses were 3 red & 3 pink. When I complained that these were not what I had asked I was informed that they thought it would be suitable for an anniversary and use 6 premium roses and loads of greenery . Obviously didn't matter what I thought didn't even ask if these would be OK. I had asked for MIXED flowers for a special reason and person.NOT what they wanted to suit the shop. NEVER AGAIN.

Discovered by chance that a birthday order was incomplete. Different flowers, no vase, no teddy. Ordered 5 days earlier so no excuse to email me about difficulties. This was an international order and I had to call to get refund which cannot replace disappointment. Have used this company for long time and now wonder about previous orders. I will not use them again.

I ordered some flowers from my workplace one morning when I found out that a colleague's dog had got run over and had died. I choose from a picture on the internet costing £32.99 plus delivery. I was then told at 5 pm that they didn't have the flowers I ordered and was offered an alternative. On visiting my colleague several days later at home I saw what had been delivered. Being disappointed at the size and quantity I asked for a partial refund. This request was refused on the grounds that the time limit in which the florist could have looked at the flowers had expired. I therefore wouldn't advice people to order flowers from this company as they might not be what you ordered or worth the money you paid.

I chose my flowers on the website and when they arrived they looked nothing like how they were pictured. Really disappointed as they were a surprise for my partner. Delivery time and price was brilliant, just wish the flowers were nicer.

Very dissappointed with this service - I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday having viewed the images on the website. The flowers were already drooping when thry arrived and were presented in a nasty vase. I complained after being away for the weekend to be told that as I had disposed of the flowers (!) and since it was more than seven days since I ordered (by one day) there was nothing they could do for me. I wouldn't use this company again.

I ordered a cute white wicker basket with flowers in the morning so that my partner could get a little surprise at work before our weekend together. Nervous about her early finish time of 4 o'clock i called flowerssameday to check an estimated delivery time. When my call was answered a very friendly lady answered the phone and offered to call the the delivery driver then call me back. True to her word the call was returned and the flowers where due to arrive any minute. When they arrived the flowers where in a substitute basket... A dull brown basket. The appearance tainted to the degree that in my opinion bordered on a deepest sympathy gift. I contacted flowerssameday who although where initially sympathetic where quick to point out their terms and conditions stating that substitutes can be made.. I unfortunately for them am already aware of this so i am impervious to their cold hearted response but i do think there needs to be a rule on this when the appearance of something is so important!! A suggestion to be constructive is that before they bundle my flowers into what i would say with no doubt in my mind is a cheaper alternative that we should be contacted to accept this. Lesson learnt - Don't use flowerssameday or Interflora the company they sent my order to! As for Interflora please check their reviews for yourself and although i await their response i predict it to be along the lines of "Substitutes can be made".

I have no problem with the ordering process from 'flowers same day' and expect to pay a little more than you would at a supermarket. However, for nearly £40 I have to say I am a little shocked. I got some flowers delivered to a friend and have to admit the woman on phone was really helpful and they were delivered in good time. My friend sent me a picture and whilst okish they weren't really as the picture described on the website (hand tied vibrant)and a couple of bunches from M&S would have looked better. I'm still coming to terms with spending 40 quid on probably a fivers worth of flowers! Best not to think too much about it. Also, whilst choosing not to use Interflora, I was a little surprised they had Interflora wrapping. Overall disapoointing although my friend was chuffed and it cheered her up. I'll just keep the bill hidden from my husband. Eek. Wouldn't use again.
