Was so excited to receive a gift of hundred daffodils for mothers' day what a lovely thought. Very sad to report that over half of them are dead less than a week later. Do better M&S.

I received the Thinking of You flowers, 2 out of the 3 white trachelium arrived wilted and never perked up despite going straight into water. Quite disappointed and wouldn't recommend these.

Advertised as 25 stems... only 18 received. Nearly a 3rd missing.. Customer service was appalling.

My sister sent me roses and freesias today as it is my 79th birthday tomorrow and I immediately opened after the Courier delivered them. The leaves were all wilted and petals on roses were curled and not at all fresh. Dare not tell my 82 year old sister. This is not the first time. No good complaining as they do NOTHING. Save your money and go elsewhere.

My son bought me a bunch of mixed Protea and Feinbos as part of Birthday present. To say they were disappointing is an understatement. The large Protea never came out and the smaller ones are yet to make an appearance, some of the dried flowers were all bent and had to go straight in the bin. I feel so sorry for my son, though I would never tell him .He knew I would enjoy the collection, as I lived in South Africa for a few years and saw the genuine article on the Garden Route.

Flowers delivered in a box that looked as if an elephant stood on it. Pink and white stripy carnations arranged with orange mini chrysanthemum. Ghastly combination of colours obviously chosen by someone with no taste. Will have to pretend that the bouquet was beautiful.

Complained about last 5 deliveries being left upside down on doorstep. Phoned customer care who said they would speak to delivery firm. They sent me a £10 voucher. My last delivery was left upside down again but this time was left outside for hours. Waste of time complaining.

On Mother's day I received some Marks & Spencer's flowers & chocolates from my son & family. The delivery person apologised for the state of the gift and that he would make a report of the damage. The water around the flowers had burst and soaked the box through, gone into the box of chocolates and the flowers did not look at their best. I phoned the customer helpline and was told they would send me a replacement out on Tuesday. They did not arrive so I phoned again and was told they would send some out on Thursday. They did arrive but were different from the original order. Also 5 of the flowers were half dead. I did consider not bothering and having to accept them - but decided this was not acceptable. I phoned back again and was told that the flowers that were originally ordered were in stock and that they would get them out to me on Friday (the following day).I said not to enclose chocolates as the ones I had received in the second delivery where fine and they had also included a further box of chocolates. The 3rd delivery did arrive on Friday and are in good condition. I do have photos of the damaged caused if required.

I paid £40 to have some followers delivered to a family member on their birthday as I was at home with Covid! I normally find aldi/asda & morrisons have amazing bouquets which are 1/2 the price and last for ages. But it was not possible for me to get those. The bunch is small, only 2 roses counted in the bunch along with a lot of green items to fill the box out. I cannot believe I wasted £40 if I’m completely honest. Won’t be buying again

Received an order from my sister on Wednesday 11/08/21. The roses were very damp on the internal petals which had then fallen off completely by Saturday 14th. The green Chrysanth blooms were brown at the tips. I emailed on Saturday but as I had heard nothing by the Monday I telephoned and was immediately offered a replacement which arrived on the Tuesday. Bad handling by Yodel as the box was swung over my gate and the flowers are not secure inside! The replacement roses (whilst not damp) have lasted 5 days only and the stocks have collapsed with damp stems. I am now left with Chrysanths, eryngium and foliage from the second batch. My sister and myself are long standing but now retired florists and would never had sent out flowers with such poor quality. I have used Marks and Spencer several times since retiring and have been satisfied with the product but I now feel a little more care and quality control is required. It might be worth a word to Yodel about handling!

Received flowers for mothers day from son, did not appear to be arranged, just stuffed in a plastic bag in the box, threw away the vast amount of packaging and arranged in a vase. Arrived late afternoon Sunday, Tuesday, three stems wilted and fit for the bin. A recent £5.99 bouquet from Lidl lasted 2 weeks. M&S used to be a mark of quality, definitely not for flowers.

My daughters ordered a bouquet , on arrival heads of flowers were broken, not the flowers ordered. Daughters very upset as these were ordered 3 weeks earlier. Very poor service from a renowned company. Won’t be getting anymore. Thoroughly disappointed.

The flowers I had delivered started to wilt after 4 days and 6 days in and they are almost dead, with many that haven’t even opened. I’ve had cheap £4 Tesco bunches of flowers last longer. In fact they have lasted 2 weeks plus These were definitely not worth £35!

REF: ORDER NUMBER: 301-0030471-8194882 The Valentine's Day flowers arrived perfectly timed and presented, but no Gift Message in sight! The Gift Message Card is what it is all about. Get that wrong and you have wasted your money. We dug the box out of the dustbin and checked the address label. Guess what, there was a cheap, nasty, tacky little tear-off section of the actual address label that had my message in tiny letters, badly set out, just squeezed up in the top of the available space. I would recommend no one to use a service where your precious message is disrespected and so poorly presented and likely to be thrown away with the box. Why spend all that effort getting the flowers right when the vital message has to be retrieved from the dustbin to find it! M&S - you should be better that this.

I received a bunch of £40 (I looked it up) boxed flowers for my birthday. When they arrived they looked beautiful initially, but not a great amount for the money. The roses all openened fully on the second day and after 10 days I am ready to throw them away. I have had better quality flowers from Aldi for a fraction of the price. It is embarrassing to mention it to the gift giver, but it is disgusting that such a big operator gets away with delivering such poor quality flowers.

I recently received a very disappointing"large summer garden planter" from marks and spencer. The planter was delivered as requested. when opened the planter was firmly fixed in its cardboard box but when planter was lifted out the lavender plant was just about hanging on other plant were damaged, buds off the plants were in the bottom of the box along with a considerable amount of the compost/soil. This planter had obviously been dropped or thrown about despite several notices on the package adb]vising handlers to keep the box upright. Yodel were the deliverers. When I spoken to my friend who had sent this present, she contacted m&s the next day who yes reimbursed her the money, but stated that they (m&s) had had trouble with this item and had had several complaints. Why do m&s continue to sell this product or find a different carrier. I must add that I was extremely disappointed and in this present climate feel very let down

I received the flowers from a family member, they arrived suitable packed, I was so pleased as I had always admired M&S flowers, initially the flowers were lovely then the following day the roses had given up and others had followed suit. I have had flowers from local Supermarkets at a fraction of the price which I'm sure my relative paid which have been 100% better. I would never myself purchase M&S flower's disgraceful waste of money.

Up date on my recent review thanking M&S for the replacement flowers, they had not replaced them at all as I found that my sister had sent them exactly the same flowers as there was the no card with them I presumed wrongly that they felt so bad they replaced them So the morale of my story don't get excited if you have received a half dead bouquet you wont obviously be getting another.

The company will not publish reviews which relate to delivery but, DELIVERY MATTERS ! I ordered a gift on Feb 21st for delivery on Monday, March 4th. Yodel tracking information indicated that delivery would be between 15:00pm and 17:00pm, so in daylight hours, which would have been perfect . However, when I checked my emails at night instead of seeing a delivery confirmation, I found that at 4 pm there was an email advising a delay, ( no reason given) and stating that delivery would now be over three hours later, between 18:30 and 20:30pm! The orchid, was a birthday gift, being delivered to a single lady, who lives alone, so a delivery in the dark was literally the last thing anyone would have wanted, expected or planned. Delivery was confirmed at 20:10, but was just left on the doorstep, - fortunately it was still there the next morning. Tracking info also indicated that the driver had 143 stops on Monday March 4th! I could only hope that the remaining 52 deliveries that the driver had were not similar gifts, destined for elderly, single ladies in more built up areas.

I ordered some flowers on behalf of my elderly father for my mother on Valentine's day was not aware that they would be delivered between 7am -7pm after tracking the order in the morning at 10.15 it told me that there was 165 deliveries before mine .I appreciate it is a busy day but surely marks and spencers should ensure their couriers take on extra staff to cover this the flowers were eventually delivered at 6.58 pm the day was nearly over and I was not happy that my disabled mother had the answer the door at that time of night when it is dark I did contact m&s about this on the day but they just kept repeating the delivery times I will not be using them know the future I feel very let down with the service the flowers had been in the van all day good job it was not a hot day .

I once bought flowers for a friend that dropped within 2 days and she complained directly in store. I received a bouquet through the post and half of flower heads were snapped off. My son bought me a bunch of flowers and they died within 2 days whilst the ones I'd bought myself from a local supermarket a week previously still looked fresh. I'm a big M&S fan but the flowers let them down. I won't buy them again unless there is a big improvement. I would expect them to last 7 days as advertised.

Thank you M&S.
Received flower's today virtually identical to the ones that came and gave up on the second day. I assume they were a replacement from Marks, and really appreciate the response, faith restored absolutely.
