“Roses dried out and some flower heads going brown”

Ordering Pink roses for our wedding anniversary they arrive as ordered, the day before. On opening the packaging I found the flowers dried out, they where certainly not fresh or usable! I had to ask my wife to look before the day I was to present the flowers to her and fortunately she just laughed a said "Ah, they must be from Marks and Spencer." “Disappointing standard fuschia”

I feel i have to write on behalf of my husband. On the 14th June he received a standard fuschia for his birthday. When he opened the box he found a lot of flowers had dropped off,he thought it was a bit odd but as there was plenty of flowers sill on was otherwise pleased as he loves fuschias. “Never again”

The scented rose and lavender planter , a gift from my Mum, arrived 5days after dispatch date. The container had been tipped on its side. Severely damaged plants/compost everywhere.flowers NOT scented/lavender stems pushed into compost were dead . In the past I haven't told my Mum that I have had some dreadful flowers delivered from m&s, this time I had not choice. “Hyacinth gift bag”

On 15th of April I received a Hyacinth gift bag from my son for my birthday. I followed the instructions on the enclosed leaflet. I waited for my blooms to open. This only took 1 day. I have to say how disappointed I was with them. After a couple of days they began to loose the colour and by the fifth day they had to be disposed of. “Mother's day bouquet”

In an effort to avoid the Mother's Day rush I ordered flowers to be delivered today. The bouquet that arrived was extremely poor - half of the roses were dead and all contents suffered from a lack moisture. The call centre person was reluctant to accept the criticism quoting how M&S flowers were usually 'perfect'. “Wrong flowers and inferior quality”

I order a large bouquet of roses and freesias in a gift box for my mother on Mother's Day at a cost of £45. Although they were delivered on time they were not the correct flowers. What arrived was a small bunch of roses and lilies wrapped in tissue paper. They were of very poor quality and 1 day after delivery the roses were dead! “classic flowering barrel a few plants out of the soil...”

The "classic flowering barrel" was delivered on 24/03/2017 as a gift for mothers day. When the box was opened a few plants were laying in the base of the cardboard box and not planted in the soil and soil was part in the barrel and part in the box. “TERRIBLE DELIVERY POLICY FOR VALENTINE'S”

Ordered 2 Valentine's bouquets the previous day since M&S guaranteed next-day delivery (I.e. In the 14th Feb). What they omitted to highlight was that delivery would take place anytimebwtween 7am and 7pm. All they advertise is "Next day delivery" and in time for Valentine's. Since these were ordered to surprise someone at work, and since the person is being taken for dinner at 6pm, am panicking now that they'll only see their flowers a day after Valentine's. I ordered flowers for a Birthday and was told the delivery would be up to 18.00 on the day - not very pleased but hoped they would be delivered earlier. By 18.15 they still hadn't been delivered so I contacted Customer Services who said they couldn't now be delivered the next day but would be the following one and again up to 18.00. “Absolutely disgraceful”

Received the Hydrangea arrangement on Mon 19th December in a burst box dumped on my doorstep even though I was in house . Everything looked half dead but I hoped after being cut and treated they would improve. Not a bit! They were in bin by Wed 21st Dec. Really I should have known better, having had a very similar experience 2 years ago, however hopeful that things had improved I ordered flowers on Thurs 8th December to be sent to an address in NI. They were due to be delivered Sat 10th, they never turned up, I checked the tracker which stated they were out for delivery on Friday. My elderly mother ordered a birthday bouquet for me from M&S delivered to my home. I didn't have the heart to tell her how dreadful they were, floppy, half dead, and cheap looking. I was shocked they'd cost £35, I'm assuming although they were free delivery, a large portion of the cost goes towards the P&P. I rang M&S myself. Waited ages for someone to pick up the phone. “Flowers left on front doorstep in fill view of the sun”

My nephew has sent me flowers twice now. In both cases the expensive bouquet was left on the front doorstep in full view of the sun and the neighbours. The first time, the Yodel driver rang the bell and did not even wait for me to answer. The second time we were away. I found out about the delivery by chance and asked a neighbour to take the flowers in. Half the flowers were dead (after an day and a night on the doorstep). Terrible service. I cannot recommend it.
