It is my eightieth birthday.Some kind friends sent me some M&s flowers. “Shocking service”

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister. Delivery company did not knock at door and so flowers were left on doorstep which, luckily, my sister found early evening. When I attempted to post a review on M&S website it was rejected as you are not allowed to comment on the service element of an online order!! Roses & Phlox bouquet delivered on time but were of very poor quality. 3 Roses dead by next day and Phlox already dropping their petals. Rang local Marks & Spencer store who agreed to refund money paid. I have since bought other flowers with refund voucher but feel that Mothers day was spoilt. Order placed in advance ... A telephone call to confirm delivery, and TWO email confirmations received from M&S that the flowers would be delivered on FRIDAY 13 MARCH... Mothers Day now past and NO delivery. Prior appalling service now confirms that this family will never use this service again. M&S seem to think that the answer is to provide a replacement ..... Delivery failed as recipient was out. Fair enough. No card left and no phone call to the number I had provided. Redelivered next morning and left on the pavement outside block of retirement flats by public path. The plant did not have my message on and who it was from which resulted in her having to ring round family to find out who it was from !!! ( not what you need when your ill ). “Flowers dead within 24 hours”

My mother had a party for her 80th birthday and I, together with friends presented her with bouquets of flowers. The two from Marks and Spencers, including the bouquet I purchased, were dying the next day. At least half the Fair Trade roses in my bouquet were dead and the Agapanthus in the bouquet from one of her friends had dropped all of the flowers within hours. Ordered the large barrel of plants, I would hate to see the small or even medium! It's measly and messy and weirdly the focal point is a large ivy and not much else, I can appreciate there being more buds than open flowers but to be honest there are neither. Flowers were delivered by Yodel no one knocked & if I hadn't seen a man with a florescent jacket by my front door and then when I went in to the kitchen the man put his thumb up so I went to the door and found a large box containing a bouquet. Very poor the first delivery came and some of the flowers were dead they came a day early .I did ring them and they agreed to send a replacement ,they came they were a little better but the stocks were already dropping in the bouquet I certainly wouldn't recommend them they used a delivery service yodel which each time just dumped them on the doorstep no signature so anyone could have taken them… Read Full Review

Ordered bouquet for my 97yr old mother for Mother's Day. They were from my 76yr old brother who has leukaemia and lives in Australia. Flowers didn't arrive.
