Absolutely appalling from M&S! I ordered a summertime gift bag well in advance for a Wednesday - waited all day and guess what? - NO FLOWERS! They didn't show up the following day either - a tracking number was provided for a courier which was anyone's guess as the name of it was not provided! This gets better... When I informed M&S that I'd not received the flowers they had the cheek to tell me to double check I'd not already got them! They then said that if not, to contact them again and... (read more)

This is the second bouquet of flowers which were unsatisfactory and the last purchase of flowers I will make from M&S. You should all know that these wonderfully pictured flowers will arrive in a rectangular brown cardboard box with various labels attached to it. Inside, flowers without water or any kind of moisture, wrapped in cellophane and strapped to the back of the box. Zero marks for presentation. My flowers were disgusting. I wish another word could describe them. They were dry,... (read more)

I wish I'd found this website before I used M&S because apparently failure to deliver is not uncommon! I ordered Birthday flowers from M&S for my Mum's birthday; due to be delivered on her birthday which was a Saturday. I was surprised to get a 'dispatched' message on the Friday given that most people do plants/flowers the same day, but very disappointed after My mum waited in all day for them and they didn't arrive. M&S did send an email with a 'tracking number' but unfortunately don't... (read more)

A relative who has recently celebrated her 100th birthday naturally was sent flowers by several people.... after all, what else can you give a 100 year old? The Marks & Spencer delivery driver told neighbours that he was not allowed to lift the flowers out of his van, but was persuaded that on this occasion the recipient could not be expected to collect them herself. What sort of a service is that! I wonder who lifts them into the van in the first place. Unbelievable!! To their credit,... (read more)

Friend ordered flowers for me for Valentine's day. Ordered on Tuesday 12 February 2013 for delivery on 14th Feb. Flowers failed to appear. This is disgusting. Offer made late on evening 14th for a gift card as apology. This does not compensate for flowers sent for a special event. I have advised friends not to use Marks and Spencer for a special event delivery of flowers as they are totally unreliable.
