Good Points: It is in .22 caliber and shoots perhaps 650 fps or so (estimated only). Was easily rebuilt with a new spring and a nice tune. Looks great. Lovely balance. Rear peep and front iron sights are incredible. The rear peep has a rotating aperture that is larger or smaller; depending on the range of the target. It is QUIET!

    Bad Points: Umm....none!

General comments: This gun is from about 1935 or so; German, of course. It was given to me by a bare acquaintance after I mentioned my passion for air rifles/pistols. He bought it from a widow who was passing through; selling her husband's "stuff". She took 10 bucks for it. He gave it to me just because he didn't use it anymore and thought I would like it. LOVE it is more like it! It had a worn-out mainspring. I sent it off to a guy at http://www.jgairguns.biz His name is John and he is great. I tried Charlie Tuna; but he had never heard of it. I learned a few things along the way. Charlie works with the McCari spring sets. John uses Titan springs. McCari springs are more or less one size fits all. The Titans are manufactured with a lot more specificity in mind. I LOVE the way this gun shoots. Man, it is soooooooooo quiet! Accuracy is magical! I am a spoiled shooter. I have been using scopes a long time now. To revert to any form of iron sights nearly HURT me physically lol. But this peep sight (I have no idea if it is original or not; it looks quite military and is VERY old, just as the gun is) is just incredible. First shot was a ding on my swinging squirrel target; fired offhand at perhaps 20 yards or so. It is deadly accurate up to almost 50 meters out; and that is in .22!!!! I am very willing to discuss this Hanel with anyone interested. I would love to learn more about it. I am NOT interested in selling at any price. I am easiest to reach at dan.nolen@gmail.com All the best and hope you all enjoyed. -Dan
