First impressions of Oulton Hall were very good. Nice room and really excellent breakfast. Stayed for 2 days on a golf break + extremely disappointed to find course ovrbooked, with a wait of between 30 and 45 miutes between playing front and back nine. Were only allowed to play 18 of 27 holes (best 9 were 'reserved' for members). Course was only average + not in same league as Cardon or Slayley. Evening meal awful.
