    Good Points: Looks realistic.
    Good for any age 5 - 85.
No cattery fees when going on holiday, or cat food to buy!

Bad Points: None really, apart from a slight shedding of fur, but not a problem really; just adds to realness.

Motor is a tad noisy, which is the only downfall with this product.

General comments: The Hasbro Fur Real Cat is a superb toy for any boy or girl, aged from 5 to 75 or more.

It really does look real! I bought one for our son aged 5 and he loves it.

I place mine (son's) on the bedroom windowsill so that it looks like it is looking out of the window, and to passers-by, they really do believe it to be. A word of warning - if you buy one of these for a present for someone, don't play with it first, as you will not want to part with it. You can't help but scratch its ears or feel its whiskers.

It looks like the cat from James Bond (Doctor Evil's cat).

The noises (meows) are so so realistic that even our dog tries to go mad for it. You can position it so that it can be lying down or in a sitting position, then if you leave the room, like I did when I first purchased it, and the sensors pick up on it, then it makes a meow and moves position (slightly scary at first, but you do get used to it). My husband says it looks scary, almost as though it could come to life in the night and scratch you to death.

The eyes open and close, and they look so real when accompanied by the meowing. Also, the fur feels real. It does shed a little at first, but I think that just adds to the effect.

Would I have bought it without trying one in the shop? Yes! This one I did, as at Christmas all the shops had sold out, and only internet shops seemed to have them.

A really good buy that has been played with by all members of the family, from the ages of 5 to 40's.

The only downside is the noise the motor makes when the cat is moving, but it is bearable.

On the plus side, we have a new family pet, but one that does not require money (other than batteries) spent on it, and no trips to vets or cattery. Oh, and no cat-flap to fit.
