No doubt Nature view is a reasonable place to stay. The charges per room are reasonable but you can be successful in negotiating and the management will bring down the rates if you are spending couple of nights there. There is a bar and lounge and this hotel offer other basic amenities to its customers. Rooms are reasonable and the housekeeping cleans it daily. Mall and cinema is quite close to this hotel so if you do not find anything interesting at hotel then there are plenty of... (read more)

“MERLIN BEACH RESORT PHUKET NO TSUNAMI WARNING ”

booked the MERLIN BEACH RESORT PHUKET on recommendation, traveling in group of 18 people with children. Did not get deluxe rooms as paid for and was told by 2 managers its whoever arrives first gets the room. My 80 year old grandfather fell over no first aid given or follow up. NO TSUNAMI WARNING SYSTEM we were there when there was the Tsunami threat we only were advised by other guests at the hotel to get out of the pool and get to high ground. the hotel staff fled without advising us.... An absolutely wonderful resort with plenty of things to do if you wish - with three pools there is something for everyone, somewhere for the kids to play, somewhere to have a drink at the swim up bar and somewhere to relax in the pool near the pool access rooms (read more)

We stayed in the deluxe room from Feb 2007 on our honeymoon, the room was just perfect and cleaners cleaned it ever day, they left 2 bottles of fresh water for you everyday which was useful, you got free towels for the sun loungers, everything you wanted they provide. The Thomson representative was a wonderful guy and so helpful. The Merlin Beach Hotel was the best I've stayed in so far, it's about 10 minutes to Patong town so you are near but not next to the noise and night-life. It has... (read more)
