    Good Points: The service was second to none! All the staff were wonderful!


    Bad Points: No mangoes!


    General comments: An absolutely wonderful resort with plenty of things to do if you wish - with three pools there is something for everyone, somewhere for the kids to play, somewhere to have a drink at the swim up bar and somewhere to relax in the pool near the pool access rooms

    We stayed in the deluxe room from Feb 2007 on our honeymoon, the room was just perfect and cleaners cleaned it ever day, they left 2 bottles of fresh water for you everyday which was useful, you got free towels for the sun loungers, everything you wanted they provide. The Thomson representative was a wonderful guy and so helpful. The Merlin Beach Hotel was the best I've stayed in so far, it's about 10 minutes to Patong town so you are near but not next to the noise and night-life. It has over 40 ...
