Two words to sum up Whybuygames.com ... Daylight Robbery. I have a strong feeling the companies gone into liquidation hence why their not responding to any of my emails or telephone calls. I rented a game nearly a YEAR ago, didn't come in the post, contacted them on numerous occasions about this but still no answer so they expect me to pay full price for the privilege of renting one game at a time when in fact i'm paying for two! Daylight robbery.
In conclusion BE WARNED, do not rent games… Read Full Review

Whybuygames is a total rip off. The service in the beginning was ok, then all the trouble started.Firstly they would send games you did not request, then they would send you a game you have already rented from them, then games become few and far in between, and when you do get the game you wanted ,it will be badly scratched and then mostly likely be sent back to you again.
Then if you try to phone them on the contact number you will only get n answering machine (please try 4 yourself… Read Full Review

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The service is poor beyond belief. Games take weeks to arrive and when they eventually do, they're usually damaged. I am moving back to Lovefilm because they know how to run a professional service.
BE WARNED!… Read Full Review

I started with whybuygames in 2008. Back then it was amazing - new games would dispatch fast and the selection would be great. Lately though new releases have not been coming in and requests are not listened to at all. It takes ages for a returned game to be recognized in their system, and it can take ages for them to dispatch anything.
I'm going to cancel after this month and move to the big service… Read Full Review

Because you'll get to play them.
I've been with them for 3 months and in this time have recieved 4 games even though I have turned them around in under 3 days each !
My latest batch of returned games still have not "shown" as returned even though I posted them 2 weeks ago.
I have phoned them on numerous occasions and let 3 emails.
No reply to any.
The customer service phone goes straight to answerphone on the numerous time I have called them.
I'm going back to LoveFilm.
Oh, and 2… Read Full Review

WhyBuyGames? That's a good question, but in the case of whybuygames.co.uk it's very easy to answer, because buying them is a lot quicker way of receiving your titles.
I have been with this company for 2 months now and have written to complain to them on no fewer than 3 occasions. The first time a nice young chap called me back to reassure me that the problem would be resolved with discs taking forever to be received back and dispatched. As friendly as the guy was, the call lacked any sort of… Read Full Review

This is an update from my previous review (look below), Whybuygames is terrible now! They haven't replied calls or emails, four weeks an no reply from them. Did they when bust? Who knows maybe! Not recommended! I would definitely recommend other companies, they might be a couple of £s more expensive but they are definitely better. I swapped 2 months ago without any trouble… Read Full Review

I suppose they ok but with these little errors and problems i wouldnt recommend them. been trying to email them and ringing but no answer at all, also when putting in the best 3 choice of games it went into the games to be dispatched area but then after adding other games the site decided to change the list and gave me 3 really old games that were at the bottom of my list.
Alright selection of games and if they dont have it you can request, the price is really good compared to other game… Read Full Review

I have been a customer of theirs for over * months and have been very satisfied with their service.
Its a fair price and a big bonus of renting 3 games at a time. All major consoles and handhelds supported & the company also offers Blu-Ray rentals but I have yet to use this service.
The service is fast and simple and you can prioritise you rental que to promote the games you would like to have first.
They will also call you by telephone if you have any problems… Read Full Review

WhyBuyGames.co.uk is a small company, as a result you have good costumer service, almost first choice of games, a telephone number to ring if you have any problems and peace of mind.
I used to had a lovefilm subscription, but change it to whybuygames, because their custumer service is terrible, they have grown too big too quickly. Plus in love film you never get the first titles in your list, its always the last ones which is so annoying.
100% recommended… Read Full Review
