    Good Points: Located within easy walking distance of the most well known historical sites and close to public transport links. Room was great.


    Bad Points: None.


    General comments: There is an express train link to Rome's Terminii station from Fiumicino Airport, it cost 11 Euros each way at the time of this review. This small Bed and Breakfast business is located about 5 minutes walk from Terminii station on the fifth floor of a typical Roman building.
    The Colosseum, Forum, Palatine, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Santa Maria Maggiore, to name but a few, are within easy walking distance and the view from most rooms is of the Opera Theatre, which is right opposite the hotel.
    Our room was air conditioned and well decorated in a contemporary style with a spa shower, which was great to luxuriate in at the end of a hard days walking. The bed was firm, extremely comfortable and when we arrived we were given advice on where to eat, what sights were worth a visit and we were introduced to the new Roma Pass. This is a travel card that gives you unlimited travel on the central Rome Metro and Atac buses, as well as entry into the first two historical attractions in the scheme, with subsequent attractions at a discount price, all for an initial investment of 20 Euros each.
    Italian law does not allow a Bed and Breakfast establishment to prepare fresh food for it's guests, so for breakfast 38 Viminale Street provide an adequate selection of prepackaged sandwiches, cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and biscuits, with hot drinks available from a vending machine and a panini press to toast the sandwiches if required. If you wish to have a cooked breakfast there are cafes nearby, as well as some lovely restaurants for your evening meal. The restaurant next door is particularly good, although a little expensive.

    Rome is a very busy city, as with many capital cities of the world it is a bit on the dirty side. This did not in any way spoil our break since the history of the place was totally fascinating. One point to note is that most museums are closed on Mondays.
