    Good Points: Nice styling

General comments: I bought a Kenwood IH100 recently and it worked for about 5 minutes before giving an error code. The booklet states it needed to be returned to a service department. I'm awaiting a replacement.

The Kenwood IH100 looks nice.boils water very quickly but temperature control appears lacking, it beeps too loud. It's relatively expensive, mine did cost 100 euro.

After checking that a magnet would stick to the bottom of my pans (required for the induction to work), I decided to buy this because I was told it was more efficient than a normal plug-in hob, and it certainly looks nicer than one!
I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient this actually is -- it boiled a saucepan of water about as fast as a cheap kettle would, on full power. The fan's a little loud but no louder than, say, an extractor fan, and overall I'm very impressed with it.

I don't recommend for any body (even my worst enemy) to buy this appliance.
