The Nikon F70 35mm SLR camera is an underrated camera, largely due to its somewhat maligned user interface. Personally I find it easy to use, but accept that others may not. Many features are derived from the F90. It's also very reasonably priced on the used market - picked up a second body with guarantee for £175 last month. Its ability to meter manual focus lenses marks it out for me as a better deal that the newer F80. Its build is also better.

I agree fully. The F70 is totally underestimated by most Nikonians, because of the user interface. But for this, the only drawback is the 1/125 sec flash syncro speed - which doesn't mean anything but for one in a million photos.

<br>And: The F70 is the sturdiest Nikon with a built-in flash.
<br>The motor drive speed combined on one hand with the "silent mode" on the other hand are unsurpassed by other Nikon AF's.
<br>
<br>Mind you: "The glass" you use with any camera decides on your results.
