    Good Points: Looks, handling, ride and space.


    Bad Points: Some build quality issues, noisey on motorway (compared to my old Vectra 150 CDTI), water runs in to boot if you open it when raining, can't see out of side windows or in side mirror at speeds of 60mph+ if its raining because water runs along the windows, needs a more powerful engine than this, doors drop when they are opened and economy could be better. 40MPG top, my old Vectra did 45-50mpg without trying.


    General comments: When you first drive it you'll love it because it is great to drive, has plenty of room and looks great. When you spend more time with it though you realise that Ford should have spent more time on making the car as easy to live with day to day as it is to drive. I wonder if it would have got all the rave reviews it received in the press if they spent more than a couple of days in it?
    My cure for these niggles was to go out for a drive in my wifes Meriva. After that I was reminded of what a great car to drive it is and forgot about the problems, for now.
