Good Points: Extreme cycle rate of fire
    High magazine capacity
    Threaded for silencer
    Nice blowback

    Bad Points: Fiddly to load
    Quite expensive

General comments: This is the second Airsoft gun I purchased - it's not as good as my M93R II but has it's qualities - it's quite different in many aspects actually.

So what's the M11A1 like to fire? It's like unleashing a swarm of Bees at the enemy - pull the trigger and you send a spray of bb's in all different directions. I once heard that the rate of fire is close to that of a real Ingram - is this true? I can't tell you for sure, but I can say that the magazine empties in around a second on full automatic - that's 48 bb's (although the manual says you can squeeze 50 in) all gone, and then you have the tedious task of reloading the magazine (I'll come to that later).

The appearance of the M11A1 is very realistic - it looks like the real thing, but doesn't shine quite the same because the exterior is mostly plastic in a simple matt black. This is quite disappointing considering the price tag ... around the £130 mark depending on where you get it from, although I got mine in a sale at the reduced price of £75 - which I think is a much fairer asking price. That said, there are many custom and tuning parts available - including a a rather nice metal frame.

The build quality what you'd expect from KSC - I will mention at this point that it's not as good as my M93R II, but there isn't much of a margin between the two guns. My main issue with this gun is the magazine - no, I'm not going to say that it weighs more than the gun (which it almost does) but it's the fact that it's overly fiddly to load - leaving you with many spilt bb's all over your nice carpet. This isn't the entire problem - because there is also the fact that unless you excessively lubricate the little spring in the magazine with oil, it will constantly get jammed, which is annoying to say the least, as you have to take the magazine out of the gun and free the spring - often resulting in a bb spillage. There is one more thing, but this is more my fault than anything else - and that is that about half of the ammunition just flies out of the side when firing. This means that if you're on full automatic, half of your bb's aren't actually fired, but rather are spat out of the gun sideways. I think this was my fault as I've worn the top of the magazine out by loading it incorrectly - you have to insert each bb from the front rather than forcing it in through the top, if that makes sense.

So overall the KSC M11A1 is a good gun to just spray things with, but if you're looking for accuracy then this is not the model for you.

As I briefly mentioned earlier, there are loads of custom and tuning parts available out there - many can increase the power is the factory model is not enough for you, and some improve the overall quality - such as the metal frame parts.

I would recommend the M11A1 to anyone who's looking for an Airsoft gun at a reasonable price - just be aware that custom parts are quite expensive and this thing eats ammunition like there's no tomorrow - but no worries ... bb's are cheap enough anyway?

    Hope this has been helpful.
