Good Points: Accessibility to the beach, pools, and lagoon pool.
    Helpful, friendly staff.
    Clean, tidy, spacious rooms.
Beautiful beach with jetty so you can go snorkelling
Regular free bus service to water world and El Wekala Hotel (with cheap shop in for souvernirs/ sweets and drinks)
Excursions can be booked whilst there for reasonable prices

Bad Points: Food can get a bit 'samey' but will do. Although I have not suffered from it my partner always seems to get 'Egyptian Belly' whilst out there, so pack the immodium! (only one day of holiday though and the staff brought breakfast and dinner up to the room)

If you are looking for an action packed holiday then you have to pay extra, we like it to chill out on the beach or round the pool, to do some scuba diving and maybe some activities at waterworld. But if you are looking for trips out these all cost extra (eg. Cairo trip, Petra trip, Swimming with dolphins) and there is little night entertainment with expensive bar prices. However if you are happy to relax on your balcony with a bottle of duty free spirits and watch the sunset over the mountains or the sea then this place will suit you!

General comments: I have been to Hyatt Regency Taba Heights 3 times now and definitely wish to return again. The weather is superb, and set with a backdrop of mountains and a view of the sea looking across to Jordan it simply is picturesque. There are a range of pools; a lap pool, swallow pools and kids pools plus plenty of sunbeds so no need to reserve. It means each day to can change where you are sitting to be close to perhaps the shop or the bar, or to be nearer the beach. The beach is literally a few steps away and is part of the hotel.

Overall I found this to be a good, classy hotel with good services. I would certainly recommend this to people with young children or people looking for a relaxing holiday away. It was very clean, great facilities, friendly and helpful staff, lots of activities. Bad points - nothing major, just sometimes not an awful lot to do at night, however they do provide some entertainment.

Two years ago my wife, 3 year old boy, 9 month old baby and myself went to Taba Heights Regency for two weeks and we had an excellent time.
Before going there we checked all the reviews on the internet and found most to be favorable. For us it was a bit of a risk taking two young children but we thought if all the reviews looked so good then it was a good risk.
The hotel is rated as a 4/5 star. It looks very attractive and is very clean. The staffs were so amazingly friendly it was just unbeliev ...
