My company needed a part shipped quickly so we paid over 30:00 shipping for overnight delivery. They shipped it to us using 5 day ground delivery. Customer service was indifferent of the problem. First time we have used Parts Train and it will now be the last. If you are ordering from them do not pay for the extra shipping. Use there slowest service it will get to you at the same time and cost you less. (read more)

Here is a classic case for FTC enforcement action. Caveat Emptor is the watchword for dealing with PartsTrain. 48 hours for communicating any mistake in your received order. Demand was made for me to verify the part I wanted by contacting the vehicle manufacturer or dealer and requesting them to send the actual Mazda part number directly to PartsTrain. I ordered a part. It came twice. I have been trying to return one part & get my money back for weeks. They have cost me more than $1000. dozens of phone calls, Chats and emails. They have admitted the mistake to me in writing but I fear I will never get a refund because they just will not reply to my emails. Ordered two splash guards for a 2010 Elantra GLS. When the parts came, they were seriously inferior to the original parts, about half as thick and totally flimsy. Both passenger side and driver side parts had holes in the wrong places (always about 1/4 inch off) and holes were not big enough for the original mount brackets. Passenger side part could eventually be fitted. It's not pretty, but it works. Driver side part is not shaped accurately (you won't see it until you try to install it)... (read more)

Have a common Chevy model, literally millions on the road, so should be no-brainer, right? Ordered front brake rotors, and used the web site parts finder engine to do that...it provides some amount of detailed specs, such as diameter in inches, etc. Also paid for Express 2-day delivery.
Not only was delivery not done in 2 days as promised, the parts received were TOO BIG to fit my car, so my mechanic couldn't install them!!..and no, they did not match the specs listed on the website for...

I ordered a Radiator for my Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7L. Within an hour of putting the radiator on, it had started to warp from standard pressure in the cooling system. Don't purchase from this company, they are just out to take your money. I purchased a replacement antenna for my 99 mercury cougar. They sent the wrong part but they won't reimburse me until I ship it back. That's fine, but they wont reimburse my original shipping or pay the shipping costs for me ship their mistake back to them. Very poor communication of order status, claim status, etc.

Their website is not updated. They list a part as available, they then charge your card, and subsequently they inform the customer that the part is not available. This online vendor should NOT charge a customer's card if they don't have the part in the first place. At the very least, they should update their website.
