Previously had a 2.0 GLX before the ST24, on any mondeo that you want performance from you need to upgrade the brakes. They just aint good enough if ya gonna do any kind of speed, especially if you dont have rear discs which I know all ST24 & 200's do.

Other than that, mine's given me no problem except for the flickering headlights which is an easy fix when you know how and the IMRC unit failing. Easily corrected by restarting the car however to fix you need to strip the plenom chamber right d ...

I have owned my ford mondeo st200 for just over 12 months. Had a few issues but nothing major. It is nearly 10 years old! Very comftable and if driven steady can get 35mpg round the town. Would highly recomend for a reasonably cheap fast family car

The Ford Mondeo ST200 is a very nice looking car, feels solid, brilliant sound from twin exhaust, mines been uprated to twin scorpion, well recommended, not very fast, too heavy for that, but feels solid and fast enough, agree with prev comment will never keep up with a Subaru or similar, but I wouldn't try to,came from a scooby to this st200 and this feels more solid and looks better, but would never keep up with it, always gets looks down to standard bodykit and exh noise, mines a red one and hasn't ...

On long drives the Ford Mondeo ST200 is very good on fuel. It sounds amazing and is very quick. The recaro seats are very nice better with half lether though. A big boot. So at the end of the day it is a very fast family car wich can converted in to 4 wheel drive so even quicker acceleration.
Very good looking car nice 200bhp v6 engine which reaches about 150 mph and very comfy seats.

I bought my Mondeo ST200 with 89k on the clock March 08 and now have 94k and only the brakes have given me problems and the constant fuel stops! Mine is parked up all week due to a company car and has always started 1st time. For a W reg it is in fantastic condition with just a hint of rust on 1 rear wheel arch. Everything is in the car and the only thing I would have on it is xenon lights. Would I recommend one? Definatly, if you go for pre 2001 the tax is only 185 not 400. Looks smart especial ...

Tend to rust on the offside wheel arch, and have a tendency to let water in through the rear light units. Other than that, they are superb motors.

Overall I Think The St24/200 Is A Great Car. I Have Owned My St24/200 For A Month And I Love It, Seats Are Really Comfortable, The Drive Is Super Smooth, And The Car Is Super fast Im Pushing Around 215bhp And Im Now Getting It Chipped Which Will Add Another 11bhp Min. Plus Alot More Torque!! With It Being The V6 They Can Play With It Abit More Than A Normal Motor. Unfortanatly AfterOnly Owning The Car A Month It Is Now Off The Road As I Was Driving Along The Other Day And Had To Stop For A Red L ...

Theres no doubt Ford actually got it bang on with the Ford Mondeo ST200. It has enough oomph, it has enough road presence without ever looking lairy or alternatively, faceless. It corners so well you have to check your still in a ton and a half of Mondeo.
It's smooth and refined but then barks a lovely V6 roar at you once you put your toe down.
I've had mine 6 months and I adore it. Its quicker and better built than its Vauxhall competition around this era.
And thats not a biased Ford owner t ...

I've owned my st2000 for just over a year now.bought with 92k on the clock with 1 previous owner, who was a company director, full main dealer service history.
I previously owned a 2ltr mondy and new one day I'd jump to the ST2000, no regrets...
A couple, but only after a year! Clutch has started to slip at 113k,which when thought about isn't that bad on a 2.5 V6, yeah this is its factory fitted clutch....only problem being don't ask for change out of 600 quid and try looking for someone who wan ...

I brought the Ford Mondeo ST200 estate, yes the estate, not many made I hear? Got it for a cracking price too! Had to travel has not many about. I have the head turning blue, it looks fantastic when washed, looks the part with the pro tints all round, not the windscreen though. Mine has a custom made twin exhaust cost £500. Not cheap, but well worth the money sound amazing with the V6 roar with it! It's faster than most of these boy racers VW Golf GTIs, VTRs and burns away the Ford Focus S ...

The Ford Mondeo ST200 is a totally gorgeous car. Outstanding performance and head turning looks in the imperial blue. Sounds perfect when you are in a hurry or just gently blip the throttle. Completely reliable for both pottering about town & for longer journeys where it has surprised me with it's fuel economy. Twin exhaust pipes a must and a major decider over the ST24 when I was searching for my Sierra replacement as a practical but special all purpose vehicle.

I bought this car last year as my mate had a V6 and I thought it sounded the nuts (it was a rover or MG as he calls it ZS 180) so I wanted one too!! ha.. so I looked around and set my sights on the 200. Rushed into it and bought this one with no previous MOT's or history. nether the less its been a good car, had the nearside front droplink replaced and theres a rubbing sound on the nearside front wheel? There's is a ticking sound from the engine at certain times but... other than that its a good ...

The ST200 does look the part: it's a bit of a chav-mobile but it's subtle enough to get away with. Mine is blue and when cleaned up properly it does turn heads. They only came in blue and white, the latter being supplied to police forces, which in my opinion are best avoided. People will tell you that they are the best buy but think about it, coppers are given the key to just over a 200bhp car and kick the backside out of it 24/7 as part of their daily routine, not to mention god knows what stat ...

I own one of the ST24 Ford Mondeo models.
Have owned the car for 6 months now. Nice car to drive, comfy, fairly nippy however many of my friends hot hatch roller skates are faster!

Bought the car from a friend thinking I got a good deal. Now I am trying to sell it for the same money and not had much interest!

If you've ever driven a real sports car (Porshe, MR2, Lotus) there is no comparison with the Mondeo. The Mondeo lacks the fun feel factor. I owned a Saxo a couple of years ago. How ...

This Ford Mondeo ST200 is an excellent car, it's comfy quick and good looking. Trouble is the brakes are not enough for the weight of the car, they really let it down. I'm going to fit some cross drilled ones to try and keep them cooler.

I also think that for a car of this weight 200bhp is enough, but not 'amazing' it could easily cope with more power.

But it is an excellent well balanced car, it certainly attracts a lot of attention for a 'mundano'

This is the 2nd ST Mondeo I've owned in succession. My previous ST24 was great but the extra 30bhp of the ST200 makes a big difference. I really think the ST200 is a real head turner which looks fantastic with the factory body kit, twin exhausts and alloys.
