    General comments: My daughter has had one for just over a year the front slide cover has come off and the buttons have also cracked. Sony Ericsson has told me it is not covered under warranty . I think it is a fault with the phone. It has not been mistreated in any way .So before you buy think carefully.

    The Sony Ericsson S500 is good apart from the very short battery life.

    I haven't been on the Sony Ericsson S500 much yet but overall so far its been the best phone i have ever had! :D Its a really good phone i just got it today my friend has had one for over 3 months and the key pad hasn't cracked.
