    Good Points: Great value
    Robust and exciting gameplay

Bad Points: If you didn't have an adaptor, this game would 'guzzle' your batteries. And if your mam wouldn't buy you an adaptor, you would experience long periods of non-gameplay. My birthday wasn't until July, and my parents made me wait seven months for an adaptor for my 'Christmas present'.

General comments: Grandstand Astro Wars was one of the best examples of a fore-runner of future intergalactic shoot-em-ups we now enjoy on much more powerful consoles. Back in 1984, taking this game into school on the last day of school would really improve your popularity. This game was relatively in-expensive and quite robust. The game play, although now quite dated, was fun, exciting and required good hand-eye co-ordination. Basically, it is based on a 'Space Invaders' theme.
