    Good Points: 4 gauge kit able to handle 1000 watts RMS.


    General comments: Well, I recently bought yet another amp to replace the Legacy LA460, with an Alpine MRP-M350D, a fair bit more powerful so I had to upgrade the wiring as I'm now pushing close on 500 watts RMS with the two amps and the 8 gauge kit wouldn't have been able to handle it.

    Came across the Fusion 4 gauge wiring kit in where I and got it for £30 usually £40.

    What comes with it:-

    5M of 4 gauge power cable
    1M of 4 gauge earth cable
    10M or 12 gauge speaker cable
    5M of 18 gauge remote lead
    4 gauge fuse holder
    4 sets of speaker connections
    And a pair of spare fuses

    Can handle up to 1000 watts RMS or about 60A.

    As I'm running 2 amps, I've had to run the 4 gauge into a fused distribution block, and break it into 2 smaller 8 gauge wires, one for the Alpine amp and one for the Vibe amp.

    Also when installing the inline fuse holder, place it about 10cms inline away from the battery as this will prevent a lot of damage being done to your amplifiers and wiring kit.

    Even though the power and earth cable is so thick and well insulated it is very easy to work with.

    All in all I'm pretty pleased with its performance.
