    OK value for the money. The large hard drive enabled me to save a significant amount of video before having to copy to my computer, even at the highest quality settings. It is lightweight and easy to move around. Quality isn't as good as I would like. It seems to crash rather easily.

    Have had this camera 6 months and video from vacation still on it , and can't get it off. Cyberlink software does work on vista, had to pay for an upgrade for it to work. After upgrade it still didn't work. Called support and was told to use windows movie, that also didn't work and was told to call Microsoft for problem ? Told them your software didn't work either. was told to call Microsoft again..

    Not happy with my JVC GZ-MG130u as I am unable to download easily after 2 downloads it doesn't work any more i have to take the out of warranty product and they will look at it for a price.

    This camera is real easy to use, has a great zoom, great picture on video mode, and is small. I think there are a few bad points, the built-in mic picks up good sound if you are close, and there is no input for a external mic, the photo mode is good, but a horrible picture! I can take a picture on my phone and it would be better. If you plan on using the still photo mode-DO NOT Get this camcorder! Overall, good camcorder, but horrible still photos!

    Overall this is a great camera for video but not for stills although the 30Gb HD will record 37 hours at the lowest quality.

    A good price, a good system, light and easy to use. Only negatives are battery and photo quality.
