For many years I have been shopping at Republic for all of my family. At Christmas I purchased £200.00 worth of vouchers for my student daughters. Now that they have gone into administration they are worthless. I find it unbelievable that shops can take your money for these things and not return either the cash or give you goods to there value. Republic really are the lowest of the low. Over the years I've spend thousands with them. Recently, few weeks ago, I placed an order of £250 (which I've received) and last week an order of £105 (not received). They marked my £105 order as "dispatched" and even provided a tracking number - but never actually shipped the goods. Im writing as a very antagonised client to ask about my unused gift voucher that I received at Christmas. try calling your local store - i called mine and they said it will definitely be delivered - but the process is just slower than usual because there are less people etc. i'm going to wait hope you find yours!

I have just spoken to customer services as i also ordered in store yesterday for next day delivery to be told i wont be receiving my delivery today and that i cant have a refund either.They are hoping to find more out in the next few weeks so to keep hold of my receipt. What an absolute joke my item was a Valentines present for my partner. Im so angry111.

same here guys order never delivered and silence from them, call your bank and let them know that you want a charge back to your debit card, if you used a credit card then call the relevant company, there is a procedure you need to do but the bank will explain that as they have to me. there is still a chance to get your order, but you have to go into a republic store and see if they can trace it for you and if not then try and get a refund from them. The bank needs a notice of insolvency and proof of purchase. (if you cant get a response on email from republic go into a store and ask for one from the manager - they are legally required to provide one to you).

I never authorised anything to be left. Eventually phoned customer services who suggested I check if it had been left with a neighbour which I had already advised them in an email that I had done this. Today i was trying to buy a few items from thew republic sale, i added about 5 to my basket and was just about to check out and pay when it crashed. I then though oh it will only last a few minutes...no it has lasted all day. Then when it finally did start working again none of my items were in my basket and i had to search around AGAIN for them. I find that this is unfair because it is a shop that allows Student Discounts. After their rubbish website let me down and ended up charging me for something through paypal that I never received, I began nagging the customer service department. I think the jeans that I have bought have really good quality and they cost not that much... but if they would be cheaper I would be even more happy.
The jeans aren't really heavy like some other ones. They have few pockets which I can put my things in like: phone, money ect. I really like them and I will recommend them to my friends. Next time when I will need to have some new jeans, tops ect. I will come to republic and buy some from you. :))

Also the item that I bought I recommend this item as the colour navy blue goes with everything. The style and cut is fashionable for you to wear different items with this, ie jeans, pegleg trousers and chino jeans/trousers.

I thought the customer service was very quick and easy going. I would definatly recommend this shop to a friend bescause they love this kind of thing. The're own branded items are just as good as the more popular designer goods. Because of this I would recommend them to anyone. Firstly the goods arrived, minus a cardigan then 2 days later a email followed saying out of stock, and I would be refunded. Ordered items via next day delivery. 2 days later I had heard nothing. I called to complain and was told their systems had crashed and my order was still not on the way. I then received an email to tell me that 2 items were sold out.
I called and spoke to a manager but got nowhere then I asked to speak to her manager who apologised and offered a full refund which seemed like the best option.
Overall I was very unhappy with the service I received.

I feel the need to add my thoughts about this delivery service as I have only placed 2 orders and whilst the items that I ordered for myself arrived fine the polo shirts i ordered for my husband arrived tightly rolled into balls tied up and just thrown into the bag without being indiviually wrapped.
The shirts are extemly creased and look as if they are a year old!
Not impressed at all!!

I am prepared to spend some of my leisure time chasing them to get the refund. However, I am ready to do it so. Of course this is the last time I buy from them or I step in one of their shops. Ordered a dress worth around £30 over a week ago,looks a lovely dress, was very excited about getting it. Paid the extra for next day delivery,all sorted. Needed it for an event this coming Sunday. ordered it late at night on Wednesday so id not expect delivery any later than Friday or Monday,fair enough.
It is now the following Friday and i haven't received it, HIGHLY disappointed!
Now have the extra expense of buying ANOTHER new dress from a different company because they are incabable of...

I bought some G-star clothes from the Republic site, and I was really pleased!!! This was round about Christmas time as well, so I thought - Ooh, it's going to be hassle! But it wasn't.
I ordered one hoodie and one t-shirt, and they came very quickly by Parcelforce, and they also gave you regular updated emails telling you about the staus of your parcel and everything there is too really know.
And they also gave you a tracking numer, which you could use when you visited the Parcelforce...
