Good Points: We could not fault anything on the ship, it was spotless the food was good with plenty of variety. Entertainment was varied and we feel was very good for all ages.
Bad Points: None
General comments: As this was our first cruise we were a bit worried with some of the bad things said about Ocean Village on other review sites but from the minute you walk on board the staff were so polite and friendly. Our cabin was ready straight away so we were able to leave our travel bags and explore the ship. We had lunch in the waterfront and then went on deck. Plenty of sunbeds though it was busy around the pools so we made camp at the back of the ship were it it very quiet and very hot if the suns shining, talking to people who had cruised before on more expensive ships the majority said they would cruise with Ocean Village again as it was just as good. We will be booking again next year as we had the best holiday ever.

We were really impressed with Ocean Village. We thought it might be a bit like Butlins on water but it was not it was super.
Fantastic value (half the price of P&O - last cruise) Really nice and friendly people. Food was excellent although buffet/dining not waiter service unless you plumped for La Luna restaurant or other speciality restaurant and pay the extra which are good other options. Some folk ate in La Luna nightly. The cabins were particularly nice, clean and spacious with good deco ...

Ignore anyone who says this is a poor cruise it is fantastic for budget cruising, if you like getting your dicky bow on then don't do it but for all you lot out there like us wanting a down to earth holiday then this is for you!
Plenty choice of food, entertainment, well mannered and polite staff. We came back after a week round the med 'villas and vino's' cruise on 10th June and it was the best. Can't wait to book up for the next one.
We took our selves off on the islands in our own taxis wi ...

Overall I enjoyed my Western Mediterranean cruise with Ocean Village. This was the first time on Ocean Village Two, my other two cruises being on Ocean Village in the Caribbean, but I must say I prefered the original Ocean Village ship.
Ocean Village is just that bit better all round. If you want to do this type of cruise, yes, I recommend this line, but try to get onto the original Ocean Village ship.

Our first cruise with our children 12 and 7. They really enjoyed it as did we. Very organized from check in to departure. Organized trips were good especially the Nou Camp in Barcelona, the boys loved that and even got to see some of the first team in training. Will defiantly cruise again, next time to the Caribbean.

Never been on a cruise before, but after this cruise will certainly be booking again. We did the Ocean Village Med Cruise this October (2007). We had an outside twin room and stayed for 7 nights.
Food 100%, you will never go hungry on this cruise ship.
Clean - Spotless.
Entertainment - Marvelous.

Hot meals were always cold, shower covered us in black gunge, deck above being cleaned at 2am in the morning, carpets being viroxed at 2am in the morning, people going into restaurant in bare feet, sun loungers being saved, no rules being enforced. Most excursions rubbish, and not worth the money, too rushed.
The worst cruise I have ever done, it was definitely the holiday from hell.
