Whilst the interior and exterior design is attractive on the citreon c4 grand picasso, the EGS gearbox is a nightmare. Without the biting point of a manual system or the "creep" of a full automatic, there is no subtlety of control when maneouvering/parking - just one lurch after another. It's more like drivign a dodgem and is frankly dangerous. The electronic handbrake doesn't help at all and as a result I wish I'd never bought this car. Should have taken a longer test drive...

An amazing family car, roomy, lots of storage space, futuristic interior and very comfotable seating. Very easy to drive with light controls.
Not the car If driving pleasure, sporty handling is your top priority. If family, practicality, economy and design flare is most important then this is the car for you.

Lovely punchy and quiet 1.6hdi diesel engine, futuristic and practical cabin, great space, nice styling. Some have criticised the EGS gearbox, but I find it excellent in manual mode. On all but the smoothest roads some noise intrudes from the tyres, especially as the engine is quiet. On uneven surfaces the softish suspension rolls around a bit, but handling is fine and the steering nice and light. Lovely car.

All things considered I would recommend the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso as long as you drive it first!

Family wise it is the most functional and family friendly car I have ever used. There is plenty of room inside and masses of storage space. You simply cannot fault it for the family. One thing though, i would suggest that you have rear and front parking sensors fitted to this vehicle, as you cannot see the end of the bonnet on this car and it is very difficult to judge distance at the rear beca ...
