The Yamaha Kodiak has to be one of the best ATVs when it comes to value for money. Not only do you get the typical reliability from one of the top manufacturers but also the feeling of being robust. I got my Yamaha from one of these new Quad Bike and ATV places called http://www.myquadbike.co.uk - where there was a good few bikes listed and over 200 delaers listed in a Quad Bike and ATV Dealer Directory.

The only one downfall I have with Yamaha and the Kodiak is that they do not make a big selection of colours for the bike!

I love this yamaha kodiak 450,Just like others have mentioned very easy to use and very comftrabl. It has great pick up when you want to go fast, and all the muscle you need to climb just about any hill.I live on 30 acres of pure mountain in the blue ridge mountais and I have not found any thing that gives it a problem, The 4x4 works great.

Great workhorse. Yamaha Kodiak 450 pulls heavy loads with ease. Has been asked to work 7 days a week for the last 6 years. Has been kept out in all weathers and always starts . Only failure was a broken cable. Works hard around our horse yard towing, harrowing, shifting muck, pulling a roller and levelling the arena. 4 wheel drive with diff is great in muddy conditions. Semi auto gear box makes it even easier to use. don't hesitate to buy

The Yamaha Kodiak 450 seems to start every time , east to use even for a beginner, fun to ride, seems to go almost every where that you want to go with very little effort. Smooth transmission, can climb hills with little effort, comfortable ride.

The Yamaha Kodiak 450 is an all around good quad. Not too big not too small. Comfy. No power steering and hard push throttle.

The ultramatic gear box on the Yamaha Kodiak is really easy to use if you dont like to mess about with gears.
Really easy to control with light steering so you dont have to have super upper body strength to controll it.
Mine has pulled a trailer full of cattle across a farm so i would say its very powerfull.
Overall i would say it is a very goood quad, leisure or farm work and is worth the money.

Use it to tow 2,500 lbs. boat, motor, trailer pkg. on sandy beach.
Good choice for a first-time buyer.
Would the engineers at Yamaha do something about the squeaking rear brake?
Everytime I ride in sand the brake starts squeaking and I can't get it to stop!

The Yamaha Kodiak quad bike is an awesome four wheeler for price. Nice four-wheel drive, good midsize feeling and pretty fast.
Only problems I've found - first off the paint on the racks comes off and rusts the four wheel drive should be where u wouldnt have to take ur hand of the throttle in some situations this wouldhave helped. The belt sometimes slips.

This quad is one of the best I have bought. You get a really good bang for your buck. Good solid working quad or for just flat out fun!
I really liked how it had diff lock I have used it so many times to get out of tricky places or going up hills. The CVT in the kodiak is one of the best I have ever driven. The IRS gives you so much better traction for rocks of even on a hill.

Great quad over all, it get quite a bit of stick but still going strong.
Really handy around the farm especially is you have a trailer.
Not only a great utility quad but a great leisure quad too.
Great for people who don't want to muck about with the clutch and gears.
Easy thing in the world to put into 4X4.
Good mid range quad for those who don't want to have to fork out on the Yamaha Bear 650.
Front and rear racks are very handy.
    Comes with bull bar.
Bull bar on the front handy for in ...
