    Good Points: cheap


    Bad Points: Dont fit
    Will damage your car doors


    General comments: I bought these halfords value roof bar for my 2002 Nissan Almera, i had the correct bits (bars 41 and fitting kit k06 as per the halfords guide). When you tighten the feet up the fitting kit becomes tight against the door lip but the feet raise off of the roof completely.

    Even if this was not the case the kit is WAY to big to fit in the rear doors, you could only close the doors with a risk of permanently damaging the doors themeselves.

    A complete waste of money

    If you're looking to buy Halfords Value Roof Bars 401, also consider Paddy Hopkirk 401 bars and bits (they are pretty much the same). This is a simple basic system at a reasonable price. They seem quite strong.
