We booked a villa from crystal rentals spain. Villa was not in the best condition but garden was nice. Things went pretty much as agreed during the holiday even though the guy (Paul) who was guiding us to the villa didin't know anything about it and didin't even have keys to the gate so we had to climb over the fence to get gate opened from inside.
However, real problems started after the holiday when crystal rentals spain was supposed to return our 750 euros deposit 48 hours after the rental. We haven't got our money yet and it is now 1,5 months since we came home. I have tried to reach someone from the office by phone and mail but no answer. Paul doesn't answer either.
So, I advise you not to use crystal rentals spain unless you don't want bad service and lose your money!!!

#1 Sun Beach Urbainsation, Cancelada, Marbella
We arrived at Cancelada (not 5 mins from Puerto Banus as advertised on the website- but 14km from Puerto Banus)
When we got to the property the 7 of us were greeted by a dozy Estonian woman, who didn't know anything about the property. Apartment - Benal Beach Benelmadena. I adult 2 kids 3 + 12 years. 1st - 4th Oct Intially my enquiries started with the owner of the apartment, I was then directed by her to Crystal Rentals Website to pay the 100 euros deposit at the end of june. I duly paid this and was expecting full booking details to be emailed over. They weren't. I booked the 7 bedroom villa, Las Chapas area nr Marbella, for a family group of 8 adults and 5 children (age ranges 9 to 14) one week august 2009.
The villa was with private garden and outdoor pool. All in all the whole group loved being at the villa, and were disappointed when the day came to leave.
The area offers a number of places to eat, however most were on or near the beach area, which was rather a steep hill to climb after a full tum and a few sangrias.

We had a really bad experience with crystal rentals spain - avoid them like the plague. Got to Marbella to find our 14 bed luxury villa was double booked despite booking it 7 months beforehand. Crystal's owner put us in another villa sleeping 8 in the middle of nowhere (we had no car), with five of us having to sleep on airbeds for 2 nights (it was a hen weekend so we were only there for a total of 3 days). I have been reading comments made about crystal rentals but would have to say they were very kind and helfull, the villa was a fair price with 6 bedrooms and private pool and jacuzzi, The weather was great what more could you want, best villa renters yet.- Read janemally's review (69 words)

In summary:
We rented a villa in Spain in Estepona including a heated pool. When we arrived the pool was filled with dirty brown water. Crystal Rentals Spain promised to send the cleaners. Eventually the pool remained uncleaned and unfilled with water for a week. The second week the pool was filled with water but no heating was done, so swimming was not possible.
We rented a villa including two jacuzzi's. The jacuzzi's were there but were both not working.

We rented Kikas villa - Selwo Park in Estepona for the period December 2007 . The booking was made via Crystalrentalsspain organisation.
While the website looks very promising the villa concerned is actually in a very poor state and is not in state that can or should be rented out.
