General comments: The flowers I got from Blooming Britain didn't last for very long, and they weren't the flowers that I had ordered. They didn't have the message I requested and didn't arrive when they were supposed to. I am still waiting for a refund and a response to a complaint.

I requested a delivery from Blooming Britain on the 27th of May 2006. It was a birthday surprise for my sister. I got a message saying it would be delivered on the 26th due to the bank holiday. It was not delivered. A sticker was left on the outside door to the block of flats, with a telephone number for Amtrak several days later. My sister chased this up for about a week. Each time Amtrak said the goods were on the van, so they did not know what the items were. In the end they said they deli ...

I have had every excuse from Blooming Britain for non-delivery or a reason for not refunding. The latest one was that the person that did the refunds was off ill. I finally sent a recorded delivery letter including copies of all email transactions to the manager, but I am still awaiting any response. I can not understand how staff are prepared to work for a company like this - even for a salary.

To everyone who as not recieved goods from Blooming Britain( now in insolvency) contact WYLIE AND BISSET, 168 BATH STREET GLASGOW, TEL 0141 566 7000 . Think there is no chance of money being refunded but he is issuing claim forms to all that have been had. Hope this helps. Heather

I have been promised a refund for the champagne several times, but am still waiting. It's now been approximately three and a half months. Have they really gone out of business? I only heard that today. Chris.

I ordered and paid for a bunch of roses, a balloon and some chocolates for my Mother's birthday 3 months ago from Blooming Britain. They have never been delivered! I have never been able to get through on the phone and I have never had an email replied to, and I sent sent many! I guess I will never get my money back now! I buy flowers for my Wife and Mother every month, and on a happier note I would like to recommend a company call flowersdelivereduk.com. Their flowers are absolutely lovely, and ...

I purchased a balloon bouquet on 19th May for my boyfriends birthday from Blooming Britain. The website stated if orders were placed before 2pm they would be delivered that day. I called them to confirm the delivery time, and they told me they could not deliver that day and it would be the following day. I explained this was no use to me, and the man I spoke to said he would cancel my order and refund my card in full. I have since had the money charged to my card, but obviously never receive ...

I ordered flowers from Blooming Britain and the money was deducted from my account, but the flowers were not delivered. The lady I was sending them to is critically ill, and this was the last thing I could do for her. I have sent numerous emails but to no affect. I live in Australia and I am unable to telephone them. I have tried to get into their web site but it is unavailable!

Some flowers were ordered from Blooming Britain (www.bloomingbritain.com) with a specific delivery date for a birthday. I received an e-mail the day following the order (and 2 days before the date of delivery) stating delivery was not possible on the specified date. I emailed to cancel and re-ordered with a different company. The bouquet then turned up from Blooming Britain a further 3 days later and my debit card was charged. I have emailed them several times since requesting a refund and h ...

About six weeks ago I ordered a gift from Blooming Britain to be delivered to my husband who was seriously ill in hospital. It never arrived! I tried on several occasions to ring Blooming Britain and there was no answer. Eventually I got through, and after some deliberation with a supervisor it was agreed that I should receive a refund within 21 working days. That was 38 working days ago, and still nothing! I've called them, and still no answer. I've contacted Trading Standards in Lanarkshire, b ...

The flowers ordered from Blooming Britian arrived 4 days late, and died within 1 day, after being offered a refund 3 times, it has still not been applied to my card. I understand they have now gone into liquidation.

I ordered from Blooming Britain in good faith. I had my money deducted from my bank account and nothing was delivered. It turns out there are bad reviews everywhere. I am still having to chase my money.

I placed my order with Blooming Britain on June 5th 2006 and I was charged on the same day for three different gift baskets. One was a luxury hamper, one was for fruit and chocolates, and the third was for flowers and balloons. I ordered it all, almost $500.00 worth, for an elderly lady going through chemotherapy in England. Well, I received an email from Blooming Britain on June 8th 2006 stating that "there was a problem with my credit card, and that they would not be able to process the order ...

I ordered a balloon bouquet from Blooming Britain for my daughters 14th birthday. As a single parent her party had cost a lot, and this was her gift. I ordered it on the 13th of June to give lots of notice. Sadly, to the detriment of my child's party and all her friends waiting on her gift, it did not come. I have tried to contact the company by phone and email, and I have had no reply. It was a sad day for my child. The least they could have done was stopped taking payments. I am now £ ...

On June 7 I ordered a birthday Fruit Basket with Cheese and Biscuits from Blooming Britain for my husband's father who lives in England. Shortly after placing the order, I promptly received an email confirming my order, and delivery date of June 23. When speaking with my father-in-law last evening and discovering that he did not receive his birthday gift, I don't know if I felt more angry, disappointed or embarrassed. I immediately looked up the email confirmation (received June 7), and then att ...

I placed an order with Blooming Britain for a fruit basket for my boss, and I am completely furious, not to mention embarrassed that, despite ordering prior to the cut-off time, there is still no sign of the delivery. Unanswered telephone calls, emails ignored... The usual stuff. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. Still unable to make any contact. Utter rubbish.

I'm in Australia, and the flowers I ordered from Blooming Britain were for the 1st Anniversary of my mothers death. I ordered a good week in advance, and I paid for them at the same time. Did the flowers arrive on the Saturday as they promised? NO they didn't!! It caused much heartache, and my sister had to wait in all day for a delivery which never showed. I have demanded my money back.

Having totally messed up the flowers I ordered for my Mother for Mother's Day, I have finally got a result from Blooming Britain. I have been refunded, I received some free flowers and my mother received a hamper of goodies. They should make sure this doesn't happen again, and have better customer service in place in case it does. It could have been worse!!
