    I would NOT recommend alfresia to anyone. The website looks good, and so, unusually, I did not check reviews - the ones on their website are very flattering, obviously. I had hassle from start to finish, the only sign of competence being this company's ability to take payment, promptly. I would have involved Trading Standards but had run out of energy. Be aware that there is no actual return address, just a box number. When I wrote, no reply was ever received. As for phoning, no chance of a reply. And, the majority of e-mails go unanswered. Also, if you do purchase something and need to return it, you must do so in the original packing and PAY THE RETURN COSTS which will not be refunded to you, even if the goods are faulty - it's in their small print. Someone should investigate this lot but I reckon they know that by wearing customers down, the fight goes out of people.

    I ordered my tables, chairs and cushions on the 20th May 2009. Naturally the money was taken out of my account. A warning, never use your Visa Debit card, use a credit card then you have some clawback possibilities!. One of the chairs arrived smashed, the cushions never arrived., and despite contacting Alfresia so many times, e mailing, calling etc, never once did they call me back. Photographic evidence was supplied of the breakages, and today 19th August still nothing has been done.

    Purchased a table and four chairs on 23 april from Alfresia, chairs arrived 3 weeks late no table after countless emails and phone calls table arrived damaged still trying to get in touch with them bank says send goods back then they can refund money.please anybody reading this I do not recommend Alfresia.

    I think the other reviewers have said it all. Alfresia have told me that Parcelforce will be collecting the faulty bbq from me today and yet Parcelforce have nothing whatsoever in their bookings. It remains to be seen if their promise to refund my credit card is also to be honoured. Life is too short to waste time. Incidentally, the system won't allow me to submit this review with no stars at all - which is what I wished to do - so ignore the star ratings with this - Alfresia should have a ...

    Ordered basket firepit 8th June. Still waiting for goods. Money taken immediatley. No response to numerous emails and messages left on Alfresia answermachine. Cant even cancel my order and get money back as no-one responds.

    do not order from Alfresia if you want to see your goods. they still have not delivered the rotary drier i ordered on 16th june. i cannot get any response from them - they have not replied to the ticket i raised and no-one is answering the phone. they have my money though.

    I wish I had visited this site first. I have just paid £483 for a BBQ. Alfresia actually rang to take my credit card details again as said not gone through, but it had!! They said they would look into this and ring me back. I have left 4 messages, e-mailed twice. The phone keeps ringing but no-one asnwers. Not sure what to do??

    Had no problems with Alfresia, we cancelled our order and they where more than happy to help. They returned all our calls and emails but more importantly our money. Overall a good service.

    Alfresia is an awful Company. Do not place any orders with them. We received a faulty BBQ over a month ago and ever since have tried to chase for a replacement. They promised a replacement and have never delivered it.

    Ordered and paid for lawnmower 3rd june still not arrived. Tried all means to contact Alfresia without any reply. Looks like a set of bandits to me.

    ordered garden bench and chair 8th june 2009 money taken out of bank - goods never delivered. xdp express delivery say they delivered on 11th june 9a.m. left at side gate - i no they did not i was at home all that day - cannot get any sense from them as to where goods are left. have informed alfresia.co -

    I placed an order with Alfresia 6 weeks ago, like the other customers my money was taken immedaitely, I have sent 11 mails and made 5 telephone calls and still have not received the products I ordered. The most frustrating company I have ever deal with, I have no clue what is going on, and am just sorry that I had not read the various reviews before placing an order.

    abysmal customer service , cushions arrived undersized and starting to tear the fabric . no reply to e mail or phone . initiated a credit card dispute but need to return the items . cannot get a return address .

    bought 3 seater swing seat cushions from alfresia .

    Ordered a bbq almost 3 weeks ago from Alfresia. they took money right away, since then i have been calling and emailing daily to find out what has happened. Never get through by phone, never reply to emails it is like they don't exist once you order and pay for goods. Have instructed credit card company to recover funds.

    I have also been waiting three weeks for a rotary drier to be delivered. The ground spike turned up after a week but at the moment this is an ornament without the drier. Money taken straight away of course. After reading the other reviews I'm doubting I will ever see it. Wouldn't buy from Alfresia.

    I ordered swing cushions from Alfresia, waited a while,then saw this site and got worried after reading it, all the bad reviews, i also had got no reply from emails, and yes the answer phone was too full for me to leave a message that way, but it turns out they were just inundated with them and couldnt reply to all, possibly due to their customers reading these reviews and pannicking. I have now received my order, and am very pleased.

    If you want hassle, anxiety and stress then shop at Alfresia! Mosaic table and chairs ordered 11th May. Money taken 11th May. Then having read reviews decided to cancel. Phoned and phoned, eventually got through. Was told goods already despatched on 14th May. Cushions turned up a week later. No of sign of furniture. Rang several times - just got lies.. despatched, with courier (which I knew was untrue because I had the courier and tracking details .. hence could call the courier direct). Rang t ...

    I ordered 2 recliners on Sunday 10th May from Alfresia.Courier came the following Thursday 14th May bang on time,problem was they brought a table and parasol.These were rejected and sent back without leaving the van.I phoned alfresia and received a recorded message asking me to email which I did and many times since.I have received nothing.I have asked my card provider for a full refund.
