I was nervous to buy tickets from a ticket servicer because it was a first for me. It turns out I should have trusted my instincts! We bought tickets from them (so I thought) and then I received an email to the ticket seller that said they would cancel our order, at no penalty to him, since he didn't have the tickets he advertised. World Ticketshop seem to be a fradulent operation. I booked a ticket for Emeli Sande concencert on 6 April and paid £130.58 for the ticket. The ticket was to be delivered on 3 April and when it did not arrive I contacted the organisation by telephone. I had to call them several times. They asked me to call a totasl stranger and meet the stranger for the tickets. Tickets were not delivered. I have lost my money and spent a lot of money calling Holland. I paid twice the face value fee for 3 Strictly Come Dancing tickets. These were described as "reserved seating" which normally means near the front. However with 5 days to go, and flights and hotel paid for, still no tickets and therefore changed the delivery address to that of the hotel. I ordered tickets to a concert three weeks in advance, I got a confirmation and was told my tickets would be sent to me, and of course, the astronomical amount I paid was taken from my account. “Don't panic if you've ordered tickets from this company!”

My sister ordered take that tickets in October and was devastated when I read the truly horrendous reviews, the concert was getting closer and I still had not received the tickets. Worldticketshop answered my phone calls very promptly and efficiently - although the delivery info kept changing from receiving the tickets 1 week before event to 1 day before the event then finally having to print off an email and take it to the box office on the day of the concert. This review will state only the facts, and let you form your own opinion. RE: TAKE THAT, WEMBLEY, 5TH JULY Ordered tickets on the day they were released (Oct 10). Very expensive at a total cost of £289 for two tickets, but relieved to have secured them. Confirmation email advised that I would receive an email one week before the event took place. I had exactly the same experience with tickets for the concert at cardiff. I actually went and paid for the hotel I booked. I never received my tickets. I believe the sellers never had the tickets and are touts trying to get tickets at the concerts to pass on to those who prepaid once they manage to get their hands on them. The phones are switched off when you get to the gig, I have never been so disappointed. To cap it all WTS have refunded the ticket cost but not the admin costs £90 so I am out of pocket for travel, hotel and admin costs.....DO NOT USE WTS, they cannot guarantee delivery!!

“Do not use”

This is a total scam, it is basically a website cover for touts. We paid £100 each for £60 tickets. We paid a £120 booking fee and on top of that we paid £25 for the tickets to be delivered. In the end the communication was appalling, the tickets were not delivered and we ended up having to meet a tout 30 mins before the show started... not impressed. The people on the phone number were all like 'Hey, don't worry, you will get your tickets', like it was a totally acceptable... (read more)

“Outrageous, treacherous, disgraceful”

I will NEVER use Worldticket shop again ever. I paid 4 times the face value of the tickets. Worldticket shop also added an extraordinary a handling charge of an additional £35 per ticket, something which I would have expected to produce a professional, streamlined service.
