Has anyone got an NeC DB2000 for sale at a reasonable price, It must be in very good condition. I will be willing to pay postage and packing. Must accept T-mobile pay as you go sim card. No time wasters. Maximum offer is £20.00. Missing charger, sim card, not a problem. Must have battery and full antenna. E-mail willward952@hotmail.com.

The NEC DB2000 was a nightmare phone- repeatedly came up with 'messages cannot be stored on this sim' and receiving no signal (in the centre of Manchester!!) hence couldnt make or receive calls. Bad Customer service from NEC too. I know of 3 other people who had exactly the same problem of no signal. Steer clear of this phone

I had this for for about a week before my dad took it away from me because his 3210 was too big! During that time I experienced excellent battery life from the phone, and the signal was pretty good too. The NEC looks nice with a silver finish, and you can change the covers if you want, although they are a bit hard to get hold of. Considering the price now, the phone is very light and slim, although it is a little tall. The vibration feature is excellent - its's the best vibrate on any phone ...

I actually quite like my phone, but I have had a lot of problems with it, and in a year I am now on my 5th phone. It looks good if you don't mind not being able to change covers, and has quite a pleasant ringtone. The vibrator works well as long as you don't leave it on the edge of a table. I haven't generally had simcard problems in fact, but the phone is not reliable enough for a regular user. But it is cheap. It has spent about a month being repaired in total and as long again broken whilst t ...

Let me explain my bad point... , after being dropped or knocked, it flashes the SMS picture (something not normally done, it is either on or off, it never flashes). Then when you go in to check the message, it comes up with 'Messages cannot be stored on this SIM'. Very odd. Solved by switching the phone off and on again, although I never DID find out if there really was a message or whether it was just being silly... A nice phone, but limited. If you want the vibracall alert, this is probabl ...

I've used a number of phones now and this is one of the best considering it's age now. It's only let down my it's poor reception at times. If you want a cheap, good looking phone, it's not a bad choice.
