I stayed at Parque Mourabel, Vilamoura in September 2015. The studio room I stayed in was in B block of oasis village right opposite the reception and apartments. It was well laid out and had reasonable standards for the price, useful kitchen and equipment, big enough to seat 4 people comfortably for dinner. A very good feature was the roller shutter door which could be raised and lowered at the touch of a button, providing excellent security. There was a small veranda with table and chairs, and a good drying rack. The sitting room area was nice with two couches, that converted easily to a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom was OK. By a strange coincidence although we did not coordinate our hotel, my partner who booked and travelled separately had ended up in A block, which had a more modern TV, kitchen fittings (4 ring ceramic hob compared to 2 ring iron hob) and bathroom (newer bath) and modern aircon where I had just a fan. However, even though the décor could have been refreshed and the fittings updated, I thought the layout was nice and uncluttered. I would definitely stay again. Reception were very nice, their swimming pool is nearly full size and very good water. It was a peaceful stay apart from a neighbouring complex having a disco till 2am one night. There are handy mini market shops nearby. I would recommend using satnav if one is driving, as the Vilamoura complex is very extensive, and some of the streets look very much alike

I should have also mentioned the lovely lawns and garden with a barbeque area
