This truly is a mainstay of great value for money items. Albeit a bit complex for starters, you eventually get the hang of it as you continue to progress. As an end-user, I would rate my skills with this as a 6 out of 10 and yet I have long since realized that the possibilities are endless! When I rate a 9 or 10, I'll seriously think of marketing my creations and finding a niche for my artwork. Yes, artwork not photos. I started with photos but found out I could a lot more without that limitation....

Ever since in my college I've been using photoshop to edit any images I want, photoshop becomes really easy to use at its every release of new version, I think CS3 is by far the most easy to use photoshop version. The improvement is that it has so many plugins to choose. Though when starting a photoshop is little bit time to spend, but its really fast in handling. The price is affordable....

I have been using the program for quite a long time and i have been highly satisfied. I have also used other photo editing programs like GIMP, but Adobe photoshop is tremendous. I am doing freelancing with it. Its slice tool helps a lot me as i have to do desinging template in PSD first and then i had to convert it to html. All other tools are also equally important. I've been using Photoshop since 7.0 and this version is fantastic. It comes with adobe bridge which really helps sift through your images and organise them. Photoshop is a tool and you must study it to master its endless possibilities. For instance, a paint brush and paints are tools, and just because you pick one up doesn't mean you're instantly a master at oil painting. I have used photoshop for over 4 years and this version is excellent. I have tried CS4 on a friends machine but we struggled to import all his plugins so we are sticking with CS3. As with all editing programs, the more you use and play with it, the better the results you will get. It cannot do everything that other similar packages have but it will do most. Photoshop gives photographers almost total control over the image. It has everything to change a bad photo into a beautiful one. By providing tools like lens error correction, one can correct the camera flaws like vignetting, chromatic abbretions, etc The only drawback I found using this is it requires big RAM-about 1GB or preferably 2GB- to run smoothly. Easy to use guides which is very good as my son uses this and he quite a young man and he finds it easy to use and underastand. Lots of different items styles graphics and so its easy to get lost using this, but once you get used to it, it is definitely one of the best if not the best Photo Editing Software I have used therefore well recommend Adobe Photoshop 10....

As I said, I used to use Paint Shop Pro, I still find it easier to use but Photoshop runs better for me, and probably a lot of others, Photoshop 10 takes about 30 seconds to load and be ready for what I needed to do, PSP still takes at least 2 minutes to be ready. It takes slightly longer than PSP to get things the way you need them for each picture as well but in the end, I prefer it....
