Good Points: The wide range of composers performed and the number of events is great. The free events such as pre-concert talks and artist interviews were really well done. The performers were excellent and the programming innovative
Bad Points: Sometimes I felt like I was running from one event to the next. I wish Sunset Center had a proper restaurant onsite. Some of the venues were not within walking distance and there was no public transport to some venues
General comments: The Carmel Bach Festival should be much more well known considering it has been around for so many years and the programming is excellent. If you want to immerse yourself in the music of the Baroque period this is the place to be. Also, you don't have to be a Bach lover to enjoy the Festival. They play a wide variety of composers but they do play enough to satisfy any Bach fanatic.
