Good Points: Very easy to use website. Saves me lots of time. I save money as I am not tempted to put extra items into the trolley on impulse as I would if actually walking around the supermarket myself.
Bad Points: One hour delivery slot is good, but I would say one in four weeks my shopping is late. Compensation given via voucher though.
General comments: I would like Sainsburys to You to find some way of adding e-voucher codes to their nectar vouchers so these can be used on-line. I would like to be able to use my nectar vouchers on-line as I feel I miss out on a lot of point collection offers. Overall very friendly delivery drivers and helpline.

The service is excellent. The follow-up service is also excellent, if there is a problem with your goods the customer service team respond immediately and address compenstaion. Love the fact only have an hour slot for delivery, and compensation if late. Very friendly and helpful delivery people. Would recommend very strongly!
A super service. Only wish could redeem Nectar points on line and use offers vouchers that come through for shopping in store, on-line.

I have been trying out various grocery deliveries (Tesco, Ocado etc) but www.sainsburystoyou.co.uk are by far the worst. My first order was over 50% substitutes and food within a day or so of the sell-by-date.
When I complained the customer service team gave me a voucher towards another shop, and so hoping this was just a bad one-off I tried them again. This time a number of essential grocery items have not even turned up. I now have to wait 10 days to have my money refunded, although I got no ...

I noticed, after reading several disgruntled reviews, that the lady with a mobility problem, like myself, was grateful that somebody would do her shopping.nothing like a bit of disability to make you see the world from a different point of view and to be thankful for small mercies., so thank you sainsburys from me too.

I didn't find customer service very helpful. I always feel that they think I am lying when I complain about soft tomatoes, broken eggs, items out of date etc. My Christmas shop was a nightmare - at least thirty alternatives were sent and items were missing, but the shop cost more.

I have just received my Christmas order from Sainsburys To You having had to finalise it two days beforehand.
Delivery was expected between 1 - 2, but arrived at 3:30 - perhaps to be expected in the Christmas rush. The driver had the courtesy to advise of the delay.
Substitutions went over the page, but the problem was the items that were substituted. The turkey! It was replaced by a lesser turkey - lesser pork stuffing - lesser yet more expensive smoked salmon, lesser steak. They had ...

I wouldn't even recommend Sainsburys to you or to my worst enemy let alone a friend because the service of this once great company has really gone down the tubes. My original order came up to £67.98 (delivery and discounts included) and thought great until the delivery arrived and the bill which morphed into £89.97 and no 3 for 2 beer deal? Sainsburys thought it was a nice idea to substitute two items (A 3L Box of wine and a box of 24 bottles of lager which is not part of the special ...

I have shopped with Sainsburys to you for ages but I won't again. My last shop came with half the shopping missing - £30 worth of chilled items not there. We told them straight away but they said we wouldn't get it that day. It was things we needed so I ended up in the local supermarket at 10pm that night doing it myself. Nearly 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for my refund, having chased them many times and spent ages going throught the receipt and having to give them an itemised list ...

Used to be convenient - until latest upgrade whereby all my previous orders, user name, etc have been deleted. Latest upgrade has been a shambles.

I thought that buying from Sainsburys To You might be the answer for me. However, when I found that raw meats were being put into the same bags as cooked meats, it ruined that feel good feeling of someone else doing the shopping on my behalf. At least if I do my own shopping I can choose the quality myself, and pack my bags the way they should be packed.

I arranged to have my shopping delivered between 10am - 12pm. By 12:20 I still had not received my delivery from Sainsburys to You, and I had an appointment to keep at 1pm. I called customer services, who then said that the store manager was about to call me because the van had broken down. To add insult to injury, there were too many substitutes. I called their customer service, who didn't offer any sort of resolution to my complaint. I usually use Tesco or Ocado's delivery service, but though ...

Generally out of the other supermarkets I have tried, Sainsburys seem to be the best.
For a start, the order is nearly always correct with very few substitutes. Other supermarkets constantly got the order incorrect which resorted me to ring up for a refund on a weekly basis. This got to be a real pain and was costing me in phone calls.
Secondly, the fruit and vegetables are always fresh, and after months of use have never come across old stock. Other supermarkets have sent me old ve ...

I am very pleased with their service, and not being able to walk round supermarkets due to heart problems, I don't know how I'd manage without Sainsburys to You. VERY GOOD, and thanks to all the staff for their helpfulness.

Credit card charged as soon as order made from Sainsburys to You and it is now 25 days on, they still do not have the washer, so I still have no delivery date, and customer service is non existent, they say they will call you back, it never happens.
We are so put out by the whole episode that we no longer buy our groceries from them either, we used to spend over £1500 a year with them, we now drive straight past and go to the Asda.

The bad points overwhelmed any benefit of the Sainsburys to You online supermarket service.
Most of the order was complete. Mushrooms replaced for other mushrooms, and asparagus the same.
The delivery was made 2 hours and 30 minutes early, waking my partner who was sleeping on night shifts. If they can't keep to booked (and paid for) time slots then why bother?

The Sainsburys to You delivery staff are always smart, polite and accommodating. I have never had any problems. Delivery slots are hourly and on time, and if they are not on time they give you a £10 voucher towards your next shop. Some of the substitutes are a bit weird from time to time, but you can always send things back if you're not happy.

My experiences with Sainsburys to You have been awful! Some of the worse shopping experiences I've had.
I have been complaining to Head Office for 15 months, but nothing gets better.
I am a sole carer for my elderly Father with advanced cancer, 24/7. No time to shop. We have to eat a good diet, but no special food, just organic fruit & veg, and healthy chicken and fish, so nothing special. I pay over £100 every delivery. But delivery regularly contains at least a quarter of i ...

We have been shopping on line with Sainsburys for approx 3 months. We are elderly and find trudging around the store very tiring. The on line service is excellent, we can choose a date and time slot for delivery which up to now has been spot on. The web site could be clearer in catagorisation. and why is my favourite smoked bacon not available on line when its unsmoked is!!. This means that I have to travel or get someone else to, in order to get my breakfast. Keep up the good work. P.& M. Robin ...

I'd just like to tell you about a colleague of mine who had a terrible experience. She was waiting for her Sainsburys delivery 6-8pm on a Thursday. They rang her at 9pm to say sorry the driver could not make it and could the items be delivered the next day? This had put her out a lot but she agreed to it. They arrived at 11 in the morning and the shopping had been kept in the van overnight. IT WAS A COLD NIGHT! Her salad was frozen. He bottle of olive oil was iced up and solid! Plus m ...
