    My Daughter got married on Saturday , we bought her dress from Berketex brides in leeds and i have to say i am disgusted with the treatment she recieved,on the morning of the wedding myself and my mum arrived at my daughters house to help her dress only to find that 1 hour before he wedding car was due to pick her up that a panel was missing from the back of the dress, we couldnt get her into the dress without it, we rang them , was told they would borrow one from another dress and send it in a taxi for us , would have taken 20 mins, the girl on phone said we will ring you when its on its way, waiting waiting waitng , no phone call , 45 mins till car due i ring them , mother of the bride , only to be told on the phone by staff that they were not prepared to put it in a taxi and that some one would have to collect it , a round trip of 30 mins plus , when i asked why they wouldnt put it in a taxi she refused to say just kept repeating im not prepared to put it in a taxi , when i asked for head offices phone number i was told well i can give you it but it wont do you any good as there is no one there, we hit a brick wall and the staff member on the phone was rude and arrogant, in the end our florist turned up to drop off the flowers to see my daughter in tears and when it was explained to her she then took me in her car to get the panel, mad dash later, bridal car there waiting , we start to attach panel to find it didnt even fit the dress , the poppers didnt even match up , but we had no choice we had to just hold it in place , lace the corset and hope for the best, it was disgusting and i would warn anyone thinking of using berketex , Think Again

    I had 3 appointments booked at different shops throughout the day and after visiting Berketex I found my wedding dress and decided not to even visit the other shops as I was so impressed. You can even spread the cost over the year - just what I needed in the credit crunch!!

    I am on a budget so picked a sample dress from Berketex Bride, Leeds and paid the alteration fee which I assumed would just pay for it to be made to fit me but the staff did so much more. My gown was cleaned, repaired (it had suffered a bit as a sample) and I wasn't allowed to take it out of the shop until the staff were satisfied they had done enough for me.     My mother, my sister and I arrived at Berketex Bride in Leeds, and we were greeted warmly by the staff. A lady took all my details and those of the wedding, and then took me through the whole of their range. There was no pressure to try dresses I didn't like, and we narrowed down what I fancied trying on very quickly.

    She was supportive and patient throughout, and she was really helpful about sizing and details.

    My dress was the last I tried on - I just knew it was for me! I'd seen a few ...
