    bid tv have a few tv cons up there sleeves which i had happen to me a few times and as for find out that they selling tungsten fake watches as tungsten wont repair the watch as they say the serial nimber on it is not there and it must be a fake and they say 5 years warranty with it but look in the box when you get one it will say 3 years but they will only fix them there selves for upto 12 months and they have no coments about selling fake watches

    Totally agree with the BidUp.TV delivery charge and phone charges, i ordered 2 items on the same day and was charges twice for delivery but the items were delivered by "ONE" driver didn't seem fair.

    Products from BidUp.TV appear to be getting less and less value for money. The vast majority of products appear to be similar to what you would expect from a street market. Telephone call and delivery charges are excessive and the delivery service I have found to be poor. Two items in sucession have never arrived and another left in my dustbin chamber assessable to all.

    Overall a poor shopping experience and typical of a Virgin company.

    Have bought lots of items over 2 years from BidUp.TV. No problem with any item except one item which was recalled. I was quickly refunded price of item and postage . So no complaints overall!
    Good quality product .Very quick delivery.
    Expensive postage for some items .Should reflect the weight.Phone call expensive!

    I ordered several products over a period of 3 weeks. I patiently waited for them to arrive and was then amazed to receive emails telling me I had returned the items. Refunds were then given minus the delivery charge of £8.82. I contacted BID TV to tell them I had not returned anything to them and was in fact still waiting for the deliveries.     The only thing I have a problem with is that they put your phone number on the parcel for all to see.
    The delivery service was very quick, it is not your own like the gentle man said on your show it happens to be the same one who delivers from my catalogue.

    I have serious doubts about their "advertised special buys" - recently one of the bid up channels had 50 sat navs up for grabs. I rang the number and with 49 still showing on screen received the recorded message that I was buying a sat nav. I pressed 1 but was then told the item had gone. Call me sceptical but how many other customers 'phoned at a cost of £1:50 and were charged £1:50 for nothing. It does not take a genius to work out how much bid up made on 'phone calls.     I have just had the worst weekend due to bid tv. Ordered a steam iron and when they randg me I said I had changed my mind. The lady became quite agressive demanded my name, which I wouldn't give. My whole week-end was spent answering the phone telling them I didn't want the product on Saturday night they phoned every half hour up until midnight when I eventually took my phone off the hook would not under any circumstances put myself through this again.

    I buy quiet often my card never works and when you get a problem and phone customer services you always get people that dont understand english why employ them cheap wages for people in Bangladesh and post and packaging to xpensive.
    Bid up needs to sort out there customer services dept or they are gona loose many customers.

    I ordered a Remote controlled fire engine @ £60 got it £19.99 plus P/P £7.99 that was on the 26/10/2008. Customer services then phone back to set up an account, after 50 minutes on the phone she said your address is wrong your bank statements are not sent to your home address, I replied no I do online banking and print my statements off at home since the 7 Oct 2007.     I purchased a set of Satin Bed Sheets which were totally substandard. The undersheet did not stay on the bed and after three nights a main seam completely shredded. Did not send them back "Recorded" as normal post cost me £5 which was more than enough for a parcel which was worthless.     I ordered and paid for something which has not yet arrrived. I phoned up countless times, sent emails and letters, nobody has yet responded to me as far as I am aware. People I spoke to on the phone were very unhelpful in my opinion. Eventually I received a refund 6 1/2 months later, but not yet had an apology, just a refund into my account. Not happy with the service, I would never buy from them again.

    No after sales services that I can get hold of, call centre very unhelpful in my experience therefore I do not recommend BidUp.TV

    I purchased a necklace which the setting broke after a few months. Bid TV have not yet responded to any of my letters that I know of, and the customer service line has been unhelpful I find, I will never look at the program ever again!

    Bought some dvd's, unfortunately they phoned me back and as I suffer hearing loss, needless to say the communication between myself and the person on the phone was difficult due to the language barrier in my opinion. Explained to the person on phone that due to my hearing difficulty my girlfriend will help liaise. But they wouldn't speak to her because she wasn't the buyer!     Its a good thing they have now moved the call centre to Bangalore, because before then I would never think about BidUp.TV. I was not happy with the 3 year experience I had with them as there were no good points in my experience with bid.tv (sit up channels). Actually the only good point is some of the customer services agents you get to work with are fun and understanding and we used to all get in trouble together.

    Moving home, decided to have all new towels and bedding etc,this increased to watches and rings,sewing m/c and tools.
    We must be very lucky.reading all the complaints----we have been delighted with all items,also quick response to refunds.

    I have bought various items from BidUp TV that have not worked e.g., car jump starter, a mp4 player, a mobile phone and garden solar lights which one by one stopped working in garden. It is annoying especially trying to speak to someone who doesn't understand you and cannot be bothered helping you. The cost of the telephone calls and delivery charges are high. I for one wont ever buy anything again ever.
