you will be OK dealing with this company until something goes wrong. Then BEWARE. their promise to respond within 48 hours is a joke - they simply do not respond. Their so called help lines are overseas and their operatives have poor English and no capacity to deal with a problem or refer you to someone who can. I bought items advertised on TV with this company. After paying for my items they sent me an email stating the goods had been dispatche and that I should receive the items within 5-7 days. I waited for 10 days no goods came. After 10 days I telephoned the customer service and they informed me to wait another 10 days as they will investigate what happended to my items. tried t contact call center on 0844 phone number and put through to the live bid, which is premium number and had to phone again on 0844 which was more money, they still haven't got back to me this was 2 weeks ago now. Also when trying to order items all they seem to be interested in is selling you other items at exorbitant prices eg the wash balls were offered to me at 14.99 and were then on the channel for 2 pounds i think this is very unfair. Was trying to find out about the 10 pound voucher promotion for which I qualified for on telephone the service operators would not answer my question and kept trying to sell me more items that I did not need or want after asking about my voucher many times and being ignored they put the telephone down on me which cost me more in phone calls not worth it call centre need to be properly trained as they are very unprofessional and down right rude after all they wouldn't have a job if it wasn't... purchased yonanas ice cream making machine from BID TV on easy pay. Only to find that not only did this machine breakdown (it happens) but Customer Services in India took the full amount without my consent. I have now spent over £50 on phone calls. Letters have been ignored, The Office Of Fair Trading is now looking into this company. Although BID TV is registered in the UK it does not abide by UK laws. I recently purchased a bottle of Snake Serum costing £39.99 plus £7.99 p&p. I had to return this item as pump dispenser was broken on delivery. It cost £2.70 to return plus the cost of 2 phone calls to find out if the item had been received and to confirm a replacement. Ordered a faux fur print throw on 28th November 2012. Received an email on 4th December to confirm it had been dispatched and would be with me within about 5 days. Rang Customer Services four times before Christmas when the item hadn't arrived. Disgusted with this company.I have been waitng 4 weeks for a refund on a returned item.( via courier arranged by Bid TV ) I have spent at the very least 60 minutes on the phone chasing them at a cost of 7p per minute. Several weeks ago I received a phone call from someone I beleived was from Customer Service. This person spoke to me about something called WIN 24. I told this individual that I did not wish to take any part in WIN 24, or anything else that would mean me making any payment. I have purchased a number of items from Bid up TV. When taking part in their auctions you do have to factor in the £7.99 postage and phone call charge to see whether it is really worth buying it or not. I preferred to get my items off they website as you get then delivered for free if your order is over £50 or so I thought. I genuinely can't understand why so many people continue to buy from any of the three Sit Up channels. Everything I say here can easily be substantiated, simply by watching any of the channels for an hour or so. I recently bought an item from Bid TV and used the multi buy option for and item that was £1:00 the postage for 5 items was £39:95 and I was completely unaware this would be the case. Whilst I understand the position I do feel that customers should be made aware that the postage cost will remain the same for each and every item. As much as I find all the Sit Up channels amoral and downright dishonest, it does say on their on-screen graphics that p&p is £7.99 PER ITEM. If people are silly enough to even buy from these channels, they need to automatically add around £10 to the selling price on-screen per item before even picking up the phone to buy. £7.99 (minimum) per item for p&p, and then £1.53 (minimum) for the 0904 phone call. Given that the channels make huge profits by making false claims about the products they sell, I'd strongly advise customers who feel ripped off to report their experience to the Advertising Standards Authority who are (finally) starting to take note.

I ordered from bid tv last week and bought a necklace and pair of earings for a present. They stand there and tell you it could be a great present for someone as it got to my door i opened it to find it in a tiny little bag and not presented nice in a little gift box as they say. It wouldnt even fit a child it was that small, i then sent it back to be refunded as i would never buy of them again. Postage cost is way too high, presenters are missleading too they make it seem that the price showing is all you pay but never mention the P+P cost. I Have to confess that i have bought numerous items from bid tv/price drop and been very happy with my purchases. Obviously before bidding, you need to factor in the cost of postage and unless you are buying online also the cost of the premium rate phone call. It's clear that the phone call and postage are another way that Sit Up TV generate revenue, you just have to factor that into your total costs. This review very much highlights the typical customer of Bid TV. Gullible, confused, probably over 75 years of age, and quite possibly all three. Absolute nightmare! registered with Bid TV and got two £5 vouchers - i thought would be a bit of a bargain as there was a couple of items on there that I liked. Bid on them both (quoting the voucher numbers as instructed) and promptly got an email stating I had got both the items the next day. The p&p is expensive at £7.99 an item but this would only be £2.99 with the vouchers - so not too bad. Customer service is nil. You speak to people in India who say nothing can be done. Bought a ring. Had resized. Wore twice and stone came out and was lost. e-mailed. My few experiences with Bid TV mean I shall not buy from them again. I have tried for over a month to return some quite expensive saucepans - to no avail. No response to my emails, and only an anser-machine on the telephone. I agree: customer service is nil. And the bit I hate most is, I think, they always call from an \"unknown\" telephone number. I cannot of course confirm this since I will not answer anyone who will not display their telephone number. I would like to know how to get such information more widly advertised, rather than just through \"their\" website.

Customer service for Bit TV is the worst ever. I couldn't understand them and they couldn't understand me. It makes it very frustrating. They have lost me as a customer on that very basis.
As for the product. It looked so easy on screen to use this Ubisurfer. Trying to register the unit as suggested to enable me to use email etc was impossible, having to call yet another customer service center who knows where in the world.I am just waiting on my phone bill to tell me how much that call...

I used to be a follower of these channels from the outset but have now got wise to their sales ploy. I have bought a few pieces of jewelry for my wife of which 3 pieces have broken but about six months later. I have bought a trolley for the garden with pieces missing.
