    Good Points: An excellent location


    Bad Points: Sweltering rooms with no heat regulators


    General comments: Cassidys Hotel is located in an excellent location at the top of O'Connell Street and is good base for sightseeing. The hotel staff are very efficient . The Breakfast at 15 Euros per person is very over priced. The rooms are a little old fashioned and have a television, trouser press and tea making facilties.The real problem was the temperature in thew rooms over 75 degrees in the middle of the night with the windows open and radiators off. we heard 3 other guests complaining of the same issue during our stay.

    The Cassidys Hotel is in a prime location in the centre of Dublin. The staff are very efficient and helpful. The rooms are a good size but could do with modernising. The rooms were extremely hot (3rd Floor) and because of the pipes even with the radiators off the temperature could not be regulated. we had to sleep with windows open It was case of being in a draft or boiling when trying to sleep at night. Expensive breakfast. Cassidys Hotel is in a prime location and isn't part of a chain
