Great beauty items and advice and demonstrations, although p&p excessive, but easypay very helpful. Also love the cooks essential items - excellent value. Get puzzled sometimes at the dress sizes given. They will say " on the small 41 inches" !!! Small to me is 32/34 inches, so have seen some nice clothes but think they would be huge on me. It's strange how some valid reviews get rejected I like qvc when there are good value tsvs for the beauty products I always check they can't be bought cheaper elsewhere Most other sellers don't charge p and p The popular tsvs eg elemis decleor perricone can be purchased and what's not needed or liked can be 'given' away! I totally agree with this review,I have been a shopper with qvc for a number of years,however over the last year I won't purchase from them due to the high postage costs, on light weight products,way over priced we are in are in a resession and you would hope that qvc would recognise this,last point if you add on postage to any reduced price it comes to the original selling price,so the deal you think you are getting is well not a deal

I ordered a Liz Earle TSV from QVC on 27 January, received confirmation of despatch on 29 January but package never got any further than "received at HUB". I have phoned QVC and e mailed them but they just say they will send a form for me to sign and then look into it. I haven't received the form as yet. Rang back today and was told by a very unpleasant young man that once the parcel left QVC it was mine not theirs. They have taken the money from my credit card but I've received nothing in... I ordered two Elemis Winter Skincare sets on 28th Jan 2013 - delivery is supposed to be within 3-5 working days - I was emailed a message to say that the goods had been dispatched and my first payment taken- 5 days later the goods had still not arrived so I phoned and was told that they had sold out, they still had £32 of my money. The pillow itself is not as comfortable as described on screen and in spite of the claims that housewife pillow cases fit ..THEY DON'T. I have been unable to get a pillow case yet that you don't have to fight to get the pillow into. They become very hard and squashed up making to sleeping very uncomfortable. A great disappointment. I have a large steam cleaner which was expensive.. It really is a good machine, but heavy and time consuming as there is a wait for it to cool before refilling, I have looked at the h20 on qvc many times but wondered if it really was any good. Ordered a new TV, believed the delivery time scale given would be correct, as others have reviewed they never deliver as promised, and when you query they just say that it will be delivered by such a date but expect you to wait in for upto 6 days with no idea which day it will be delivered so much for tracking. I agree wholeheartedly. It is so frustrating not being able to see what is on a show during that show. Even after the show hour has finished it takes ages before what was on is shown, which if you have missed an item is annoying, Rubbish it was much better left as it was..... simple and easy to negotiate.

Totally agree new website it's absolutely awful, unfriendly , unwelcoming, useless total off put. As mentioned by others p & p seems to be a lot more expensive than it used to be. Shame as I used to be a regular customer, no more as there are many more channel/Internet based shopping channels that are as good, their p&p is so much cheaper to. Does any official body ever check out shopping chanels I too have had negative reviews ignored, most being about the sizing of the clothes not being the size that they advertise. I have received tops that are advertised at 43" chest aand when I have measured they were 48". The presenters ALWAYS mention the fact that you can return goods "no Question asked" and there is no limit. If the goods were fit for use or fit correctly there wopuld be no need to return. Very disappointed with Whetman’s Pinks x 15. On arrival 1 dead / 4 nearly dead (with little hope) and 4 more having 50/50 chance. I purched my second opi crystal file in Jan 2011. The first one snapped in the very same place as the second. I contacted customer services, who told me there was a 1yr guarantee but later received a letter that his only had a 6month guarantee. I have used QVC quite a lot in the past however I am using them less now as their postage fees are far too high and a bit over the top especially when ordering a couple of items. They charge for each item! This needs to be taken into account when purchasing items. I agree I have had my account closed by QVC because I have returned too many items. As you say returning products is QVC'S main promoting on tv. Every presenter promotes their no quible money back guarantee and to use it and if not completely happy to return it. But if you return them you get your account closed. False advertising to me.

I buy a lot from QVC and they can be very good value and quality, depending on what you buy. It's great that you have the option to use and return within a month (longer over the Christmas period), especially for more expensive purchases. I haven't returned that much after actually using it, but it is good to have the option available. Website is good with a wide range of products. I agree with this reviewer as I have found the review system they use to be useless, with the result that everyone thinks they are the only people with complaints when, of course, this cannot be the case with such a big organization. I have been with QVCUK since its inception and have seen many suppliers come and go in that time without any explanation by QVC as to why a particular favourite was dropped. They also only allow people with something great to say about the product to speak with their guest and no questions are allowed if the slightest negativity is attached.

I feel the company has grown so big that standards are being allowed to slip, which is a great pity. As there is so much choice online these days, they may yet rue their decision not to listen to their customers, as they can easily go elsewhere.

Qvc are the worst when it comes to refunds, received goods which took over a week to arrive, then found they were faulty, reported fault last wednesday , still waiting for return form but qvc seem to take funds when order is placed customer service is rubbish, had to threaten legal action once over after 5 weeks with no refund on a faulty item.Amazon once sent me the wrong item, emailed them , they replied within 15mins with a prepaid post which you print off was refunded within 48hrs (read more)

I too have had letters saying that I return too much, and I do return a fair amount, but as other reviewers state you are activally encouraged to send for items and then make your decision when you have tried the item out, I still shop with them, and still return if not delighted with the item, and will continue to do so as that is what they promote. I found this review very helpful because...that's how clever they are at not dealing with something that hasn't actually been despatched direct from them - just like my laptop. Certain products come direct from the manufacturer/wholesaler/agent here in UK and I cannot imagine that QVC has the capacity to store thousands of Diet Chef meal packs (which are ghastly anyway). If you insist on Diet Chef then just google them and order direct.

I agree with previous reviewers that they only want you to give pstive reviews for their products, sent a review that I thought was balanced regarding a laptop, byt siad the presentation of the product on the TV was poor, they rejected it, saying it did not fit in with their guidelines. I found this review very helpful because...that's how QVC treat your reviews if they are not happy and positive. (you are allowed to be a little negative but only in a kindly fashion!) They really do not like being put down about customer service - ooh no!

qvc are a very competent company, and their service is second to none.
some of the reviews are a bit daft. If you think the p and p is too
dear. then dont buy from them.
I no longer buy much from them, as i felt i was getting addicted, so cut
right back.
The products are fairly expensive. but like i said you dont have to buy
them.
I never had a problem with sending anything back, and if on the rare
ocassion something was faulty, i found they were always very helpful

I found this review somewhat helpful because...yes, you are right in that we have a choice not to buy from them in the first instance and yes, I also have found them to be helpful over the phone and send you postage paid returns labels. What they don't want are negative feedbacks on their reviews - unlike Amazon who allow customers to write what they want (I assume within reason as far as language goes that is!)

I have bought several items from qvc (mostly haircare products and skin care_ Found the interest free easy pay option suitable to me . however, the postage for every sigle itm bought on the same day is unacceptable and too high.
Customer service has been excellent. always helped me. nonrefundable postage has to be changed.

I totally agree that QVC need to do something about the postage issue. All other websites I have ordered from offer either free delivery for orders over a certain value or ONE P&P for all goods ordered together. I recently ordered a number of items on the same day with P&P charged seperatly on each parcel, the Post Office delivered them to me in one box!! If the post office can put them together why can't QVC?

2 tops arrived but the wrong ones. I rang and they said they would send out a returns label for me to take wrong items to post office. A week later label not arrived or my correct items. Was told they would not send out my items until they had received the wrong items back. Said I was going on holiday and they said they would send them. I found this review very helpful because...that is exactly what they told me until I said they had no right to do this as their presenters mention the fact at least 20 times every hour that you have 30 days to return an item even if used (as in the case of cosmetics), so how dare they say you cannot shop with them anymore. I think this practice should be brought to the attention of a TV programme like Watchdog

I have purchased many items from QVC over a number of years. Lately I have noticed that their prices have gone up a lot including the postage and packing. Also, more so this year many of item on air have been easy pay and I think this is the reason for the increase in the prices. It would be much better to lower the prices. (read more)
