I have been a QVC UK customer for a number of years but now I find they are going very up market with a lot of their products, putting them out of reach for ordinary working people. I find that I am buying less and less from them and am using other websites (not shopping channels) to buy the same or similar products for less money and less postage charges! For this reason, I would no longer recommend the channel to friends.

QVC is one of those companies that you hate to love. Many of their products are very desirable, and they offer items that are harder to buy elsewhere.
But that's the point, they're just harder to find, but not impossible. Do your research and you'll often find an item from QVC on another website at a better price.
My personal experience with them is ok, but I'm not happy with their ridiculous postage and packing prices. £5 for every item, no matter what you order has really got my goat ...

lived in usa for a few years unitl 1998 and used qvc there so continued to use it in uk. also used there the home shopping network, which isn't a patch on qvc.

QVC UK great jewellery at great prices. Customer service is excellent. Can be quite addictive. They don't like it if you return more than 50% of items that you order.

I have been with QVCUK for a couple of years and have always found their services very good. QVC US also sends out letters to those who return a lot of items. In a way, that is good because then you don't just buy on impulse and "waste" money on p+p, give other people a chance to get the items they really want before they sell out. However, I believe that if the goods were faulty then the customers always have a right to return them without being added on the "risk list" as poor customers.

I am a bit of a QVC-nut. I have been introduced to so many quality brands, especially salon-range skin care. The jewellery is the best around - best for both price, quality and styles. I never buy from high-street jewellers any more.

You have the thirty day money back deal with QVC that means if it does not suit you can return, also if you do not live in a large town or city you can order products that you may not find on your high street.. All in all I would say that this is a fab shopping channel, and I will continue to use them to shop.The cost of return, but you take this upon yourself, if you dont like the product. although i have had letters complaining that I have returned too may items1

I have been delighted with everything I have bought from QVC with the exception of the Prai line filler. As soon as I applied a foundation cream the Prai filler melted into the foundation cream. I tried waiting from between 10 and 30 minutes after applying the filler before I applied my foundation and I used a variety of foundations but the results were still very dissapointing. If anyone can advise me if I have done something wrong I would appreciate it.

Excellent Customer service... REAL people who are REALLY helpful. Never had a problem with QVC... unlike their rival channel, who are hopeless. They have some well priced items, and presenters are knowledgeable and entertaining.
QVC is THE shopping channel, Can't fault them.

I bought two packs of lime tree pantry pies they cost a total of £45-25 which meant each pie cost £4.00.they were not good value as one pie each was not enough for our meal.Will not be buying them again.

QVC used to be excellent however I believe the bigger they have become the worse they have become. I feel their comforter products are on the whole disappointing.

These items cost so much to return and I feel if an item such as these has a quality fault, and reading other reviews a lot of them seem to, customers should be given a full refund. In my opinion it would not take much for their quality control to realize this and as a gesture to their customers issue a letter and a refund.

QVC is like anywhere else, there are good products and some not so good, but I have been shopping with them for 15 years now and will continue to do so because their customer service is so good and I know if I have a problem they will sort it. As for refunds, in my experience, they refund quicker than any other shopping channel and they don't take the money till they ship the goods, unlike others I could mention!

I was upset that i was inconvenienced in such a way, according to the expert on the QVC selection section for lock n lock they were perfect then i go to use mine and I couldn't get not just 1 but 2 of the large lids to fit anything!
they are good in theory but practice is another matter, i was totally dismayed at their apparent lack of quality control.

Review of QVC UK/www.qvcuk.com - I think it was last year or there about that I purchased a pair of tiffany lamps. I seem to remember I had to send them back because of a problem with switches etc. They returned them and everything was fine until a few months the larger lamp which has a dimmer switch does not work anymore and I am now left with a lamp which does not work. I rang customer service like they say to do and asked if I could talk to the representative as there was a tiffany show on TV ...

Over all QVC is an ideal way to shop. goods are presented well. customer service is excellent. presenters are informative and friendly. range of goods is excellent. quality of goods is excellent. an enjoyable shopping experience.

Overall, QVC is for me! I do not object to not being able to claim the postage on items that I return because I don't like them or they don't suit me. I once returned something that was broken upon receipt and QVC sent me a prepaid label to return it and refund the original postage cost also, I don't think you could argue with that!
I will be with QVC for a long time yet, it's brill!

Postage costs are very high. They will not combine p&p even if you make other purchases on the same day. I have purchased some beauty items direct from seller, the prices were cheaper and they only charged one lot of p&p on 4 items whereas QVC would have charged 4 x p&p. QVC have a 30day money back guarantee but you have to pay the p&p to return the goods as well as the p&p to receive them - bit of a bitter pill if you don't like the goods.
