It was bad from start to finish. We had made an appointment for a kitchen consultation at the Sutton store. Duly turned up on at the designated time on the Saturday only to find that the person who was supposed to be seeing us was on holiday. We were then questioned as to whether we had actually made the appointment. Initially no record could be found. I took issue with this. There was no apology when they found our booking.None. “sub standard quality”

I have been censored by B&Q 0n their site under recommendations, when I asked if the trellis was pressured treated I was told it was, only later after I had painted them did I find out they are dipped. I also complained about the sub standard wood and quality but they were not interested, being censored tells me they are only interested in good reports not bad ones… Read Full Review

I purchased ebony composite decking along with the proper fixing from b@Q with the happy knowledge it had a 10 year guarantee, It was shown on the B@Q floor with the smooth side up as a lovely garden scene with a table, chairs and a barbeque on it. On speaking to B@Q staff I explained that I had a sister who lived with me who was disabled and in a wheelchair and that this decking would be ideal, I would also be able to wheel her out in her comfortable adapted armchair which has wheels on it… Read Full Review

“Arranged a delivery date for something they don't have!?!”

Worst experience from a major brand ever. Back in January, I ordered a laundry bin from diy.com. It said it was in stock, and that they would ring in 2 days to arrange a delivery time. All good so far. Over 3 days later, I get a phone call saying they will deliver it in 3 weeks. Friendly staff and salesperson/design expert, to begin with. There were no dramas, pre-sales. We even received a 20% discount on our fitted wardrobes, and he'd came in to work on the day that he was going on holiday to finalise the deal (get his % share). “Delivery support - nulle point”

Just as well I wasn't in a hurry! Three weeks ago, I received an order number and despite writing two very polite reminder letters, I have yet to receive a response. This is the type of service I expect in France, not the UK. I know that deliveries are subcontracted out, but three weeks with no contact, despite two written reminders, is a bit much! I had checked stock on line for land drain pipe but when I arrived there was none on the shelf. When asked a member of staff did check and said it showed 5 in stock and there was another delivery due in 2 days time. No attempt was made to check further.
